Jeep Grand Cherokee LIMITED jeep grand cherokee limited

Highlights

• 2,812 kg maximum braked towing capacity

• Ventilated front seats standard

Summary

This 2022 Grand Cherokee Limited is an exceptional find in the GCC market, featuring a mileage of only 2,400 km—virtually untouched compared to the typical 25,000 km annual regional average for a 4-year-old SUV. The Maroon exterior offers a sophisticated alternative to the common silver and white, yet retains strong appeal for buyers looking for a premium aesthetic. As the mid-tier Limited trim, it provides the perfect balance of luxury upgrades and rugged Jeep capability without the maintenance complexity of air suspension found in higher trims. The proven 3.6L Pentastar V6 is widely respected across the Emirates and Saudi Arabia for its ability to handle high ambient temperatures during long-distance highway hauls. For a buyer seeking a near-new flagship SUV with GCC specifications, this listing represents a significant shortcut past the initial depreciation curve.

This Car vs Other 2022 Grand Cherokees

With just 2,400 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits in the lowest 1% of mileage for its model year in the GCC. While most 4-year-old SUVs in the region have surpassed 80,000 km, this example offers a 'time-capsule' mechanical condition. The Maroon finish is a rare, high-depth color that stands out in a market dominated by neutral tones while still maintaining solid resale liquidity.

LIMITED vs Lower Trims

The Limited trim is a significant step up from the base Laredo, adding essential luxury features for the GCC climate like ventilated front seats and a power liftgate. It also upgrades the cabin with Capri leatherette upholstery and the superior Uconnect 5 navigation system with a larger 10.1-inch screen. Crucially for families, it includes driver memory settings and heated second-row seats that are absent on entry-level models.

Grand Cherokee vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado or Ford Explorer, the Grand Cherokee leads with its more premium interior materials and refined on-road manners. It offers a 2,812 kg towing capacity that outclasses many crossover rivals, making it a better choice for towing jet skis or trailers to the coast. The 87-liter fuel tank is specifically advantageous for long cross-emirate drives, providing a significant highway range.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.6L Pentastar V6 is one of the most common engines in the region, ensuring that parts are readily available at both authorized centers and independent specialists across the UAE and KSA. Typical service intervals are 10,000 km, with costs remaining competitive for the segment. While American brands generally see a higher depreciation rate than Japanese rivals, the exceptionally low mileage of this GCC-spec unit will help it retain a premium value at the 3-year resale mark.

Performance & Capability

The 290 hp V6 provides smooth, linear power ideal for highway overtaking and navigating the stop-start traffic of Dubai or Riyadh. Unlike soft-roaders, the Limited comes with the Selec-Terrain system, allowing the driver to optimize the All-Wheel Drive for Sand, Snow, or Mud at the turn of a dial. Its 215 mm ground clearance ensures it can handle weekend trail excursions and gravel tracks with ease.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is built for the desert summer, featuring a high-output air conditioning system with dedicated rear-seat vents and standard ventilated front seats to keep occupants cool. Acoustic glass helps isolate the interior from road noise during high-speed highway cruising, while the 5-seat layout provides a massive 1,067 liters of boot space. The Uconnect 5 system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring seamless connectivity without cables.

Safety

This trim is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite that is vital for the fast-paced driving conditions in the Gulf, including Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning and Blind Spot Monitoring. Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go makes long desert highway stretches significantly less fatiguing. Additionally, the ParkSense rear assist and 360° camera options provide peace of mind when navigating tight mall parking structures.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants a brand-new Jeep experience at a used-market price point, this ultra-low-mileage Limited trim is the most logical choice currently available in the GCC.
