Highlights

• 409 hp from a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6
• 110-litre total fuel capacity with auxiliary tank
• 3,500 kg braked towing capacity

Summary

This 2022 Lexus LX600 Signature represents a prime opportunity for GCC buyers, offering the perfect blend of luxury and bulletproof reliability with 52,000 km. As a four-year-old vehicle, it has been driven approximately 13,000 km per year, which is well below the regional average of 20,000 km, signaling excellent mechanical preservation. The White exterior is the most sought-after color in the Middle East, ensuring the strongest possible resale value when it comes time to upgrade. Replacing the old V8, the twin-turbo V6 delivers superior highway overtaking power while significantly improving fuel efficiency for city commutes. This flagship SUV remains the definitive choice for those who demand a premium cabin that can transition seamlessly from downtown executive duties to long-distance desert road trips.

This Car vs Other 2022 LX600s

With 52,000 km on the odometer, this LX600 has seen significantly less use than the typical 80,000 to 100,000 km expected for a four-year-old car in the GCC. The White paint is not just a practical choice for the heat; it is the most liquid asset in the UAE used market, holding value better than any other shade. Its status as a GCC-spec vehicle ensures the cooling system and air conditioning are optimized for 45°C+ temperatures.

SIGNATURE vs Lower Trims

The Signature trim is specifically tailored for the Middle East market, adding premium amenities that GCC buyers prioritize, such as ventilated front and rear seats and the immersive 25-speaker Mark Levinson Reference Surround Sound system. It upgrades the driving experience with Active Height Control and 22-inch forged alloy wheels, which are often expensive options or unavailable on base models. You also benefit from a larger 110-litre dual-tank system, a crucial feature for crossing borders or long desert stretches.

LX600 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Cadillac Escalade and Range Rover, the LX600 offers vastly superior long-term reliability and lower depreciation, which are the hallmarks of Lexus ownership in this region. While rivals focus on digital gimmickry, the LX600 leads with a genuine body-on-frame construction and a world-class authorized service network that spans from the UAE to Saudi Arabia. Its 110-litre fuel capacity provides a highway range that outclasses most European competitors on long cross-country drives.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the twin-turbo V35A-FTS engine averages between 11.2 and 12.1 L/100km on the highway, a notable improvement over the previous 5.7L V8. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km or 6 months at authorized centers, which are readily available across all major GCC cities. Historical data shows the LX-series retains approximately 85-90% of its value after three years in the UAE, far outperforming its German and American rivals.

Performance & Capability

The 409 hp twin-turbo V6 provides a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 6.9 seconds, ensuring effortless merging onto fast-moving highways like Sheikh Zayed Road. The 10-speed automatic transmission is tuned for smooth power delivery, whether you are towing a 3,500 kg boat or navigating sandy terrain using the Multi-Terrain Select system. Ground clearance is adjustable via the Active Height Control, allowing you to clear obstacles that would stop road-biased crossovers.

Comfort & Cabin

This seven-seat configuration is designed for maximum family comfort in the GCC climate, featuring a high-output air conditioning system and multi-zone climate control. The cabin is insulated with acoustic glass to remain whisper-quiet at highway speeds, while the ventilated seats are essential for summer driving. The dual-screen Lexus Interface includes a 12.3-inch upper display for navigation and a 7-inch lower screen for dedicated climate and vehicle support functions.

Safety

This trim comes standard with Lexus Safety System+ 2.5, a comprehensive suite including Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, ideal for long desert commutes. Blind Spot Monitoring and a 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor make maneuvering this large SUV easy in tight city parking. The fingerprint authentication on the start button adds an extra layer of security that is unique in this segment.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who wants the prestige of a flagship luxury SUV without the high depreciation and maintenance risks of European brands, this low-mileage Signature trim is the smartest long-term investment currently on the market.
