Nissan Patrol LE TITANIUM

• 400 hp from a 5.6-litre V8
• Extensive GCC authorised service network
• 140-litre fuel tank capacity

Summary

This Nissan Patrol LE Titanium stands out as a definitive choice for GCC buyers, combining a high-output V8 engine with the regional spec required for local reliability. The grey exterior is a highly resilient and popular resale choice in the UAE, while the LE Titanium trim offers the ideal balance of luxury features and rugged durability. With a 140-litre fuel tank, it is purpose-built for the long highway stretches and desert expeditions common in the region. Ownership is supported by the strongest service infrastructure in the Middle East, ensuring parts and maintenance are always accessible. For a full-size SUV that masters both the city commute and off-road adventure, this 2022 model remains the gold standard.

This Car vs Other 2022 Patrols

With 137,000 km, this vehicle has been actively used for typical long-distance GCC commuting, which often results in higher-than-average mileage for its age. However, these highway kilometers are easily handled by the robust 5.6-litre V8, and the grey exterior maintains its value far better than non-traditional colors in the local used market. It represents a well-maintained example of the facelifted generation that remains highly sought after in the Emirates.

LE TITANIUM vs Lower Trims

The LE Titanium trim is a significant step up from the SE and lower LE grades, most notably adding the 400 hp V8 engine over the V6 options. Inside, it adds essential GCC luxury features such as ventilated (cooled) front seats, a premium 13-speaker Bose audio system, and a dedicated cooling box in the center console. It also includes 20-inch machine-cut alloy wheels and a power liftgate, features that are frequently requested by buyers at resale.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, the Patrol offers a traditional naturally aspirated V8 experience that many GCC enthusiasts prefer for its linear power and proven reliability. Its 140-litre fuel tank is one of the largest in the segment, providing superior range for cross-border trips compared to the Chevrolet Tahoe or Ford Expedition. The Patrol also leads in cabin cooling efficiency, with a tri-zone climate system designed specifically for 50°C summer peaks.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 5.6-litre V8 typically averages between 16–18 L/100km in mixed GCC driving, though highway cruising can see this drop toward 13 L/100km. Service intervals are generally every 10,000 km, supported by one of the most extensive authorized service networks spanning the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. The Patrol retains its value exceptionally well, with an annual depreciation rate of approximately 10–12%, significantly lower than its American and European luxury rivals.

Performance & Capability

The 400 hp V8 engine delivers 560 Nm of torque, allowing this massive SUV to reach 100 km/h in approximately 6.6 seconds, a feat that makes highway overtaking effortless. It features a sophisticated All-Mode 4WD system with selectable Sand, On-Road, Snow, and Rock modes, paired with a rear differential lock for genuine desert capability. The body-on-frame construction ensures long-term durability when navigating dunes or towing heavy trailers across the region.

Comfort & Cabin

This 8-seater configuration provides ample space for large families, featuring a power-folding third row and sliding second-row seats for easy access. The cabin is engineered for the Gulf climate, featuring high-performance air conditioning with rear ceiling vents and cooled front seats to maintain comfort during the peak of summer. Acoustic glass and thick insulation ensure a quiet ride, even at high highway speeds between emirates.

Safety

The LE Titanium comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, and Blind Spot Intervention. It features six airbags as standard, alongside front and rear parking sensors and a high-definition rearview camera. These systems are particularly valuable for managing fast-moving traffic on major UAE highways like Sheikh Zayed Road.

The bottom line

This Nissan Patrol LE Titanium is the perfect match for a family or enthusiast who demands V8 power and premium comfort with the peace of mind of a GCC-spec service history.
