Summary

This 2022 Porsche Taycan 4 Cross Turismo represents a sophisticated entry into high-performance electric motoring with the added practicality of a versatile wagon body. At four years old with 78,159 km, it has been driven slightly above the GCC annual average, yet it benefits from Porsche’s robust 800-volt architecture designed for long-term durability and fast-charging efficiency. The Blue exterior is a distinguished choice that maintains strong appeal in the secondary market, standing out from the common grayscale palette while retaining prestige value. As a GCC spec model, it is fully optimized for local cooling requirements and supported by an extensive regional service network. For a buyer looking to balance Porsche’s legendary handling with family utility, this listing offers a well-maintained bridge into the future of electric grand touring.

This Car vs Other 2022 Taycans

With 78,159 km on the odometer, this vehicle has seen regular use typical of a primary commuter in the UAE, where highway-heavy driving is standard. Compared to other 2022 models, the mileage is slightly higher than average but indicates a car that has been consistently run and maintained rather than sitting idle, which is beneficial for battery health. The Blue paintwork offers a premium alternative to the high volume of white and silver units, providing better-than-average resale distinctiveness in the local market.

4 CROSS TURISMO vs Lower Trims

The 4 Cross Turismo serves as the dedicated entry point for the rugged wagon lineup, featuring standard All-Wheel Drive and the Performance Battery Plus which are often costly options on the base sedan. It adds 20mm of additional ground clearance and the exclusive 'Gravel' drive mode for enhanced traction on the loose surfaces often found in GCC outskirts. The increased rear headroom and a significantly larger 446-litre boot make it a far more capable family vehicle than the standard Taycan rear-wheel-drive sedan.

Taycan vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Tesla Model S or Audi e-tron GT, the Taycan stands out with its unique two-speed transmission that ensures superior high-speed overtaking performance on GCC highways. While the Tesla offers longer range, the Porsche provides a vastly more refined cabin and superior thermal management for extreme summer heat. Its 800-volt system allows for 270 kW charging, significantly outpacing the charging speeds of most premium electric crossovers currently on the market.

Running Costs & Resale

Running costs are exceptionally low compared to petrol equivalents, benefiting from minimal local electricity tariffs and zero oil change requirements. Maintenance follows a specialized two-year interval, focusing on cabin filters and brake fluid flushes, with Porsche’s authorized service network spanning major cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Kuwait City. The Taycan has demonstrated the strongest value retention among all non-Tesla EVs in the GCC, typically depreciating at a rate comparable to high-end luxury sedans.

Performance & Capability

With 476 hp available via Launch Control, this Taycan reaches 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds, delivering the instant torque necessary for effortless city driving. The standard All-Wheel Drive system and adaptive air suspension ensure a planted, comfortable ride across the varied road qualities of the Emirates. The vehicle’s ability to maintain a top speed of 220 km/h with high-speed stability makes it an ideal long-distance cruiser for inter-city travel across the region.

Comfort & Cabin

The four-seat interior is focused on driver ergonomics, featuring the curved digital instrument cluster and a lower seating position that feels distinctly Porsche. The Cross Turismo roofline provides a much-needed increase in rear-seat headroom compared to the sedan, ensuring adult passengers remain comfortable on longer journeys. Dual-zone climate control and high-efficiency heat pumps are standard, specifically designed to handle the rapid cooling demands of the Gulf summer.

Safety

Safety is paramount with a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) including Lane Keep Assist and Warn and Brake Assist. The standard LED headlights provide excellent visibility for night driving on unlit desert highways, while the 360-degree camera system simplifies parking in tight urban spaces. Multiple airbags and a high-strength chassis designed around the battery pack provide class-leading protection for all four occupants.

The bottom line

This Taycan 4 Cross Turismo is the ideal choice for a tech-forward professional who requires Porsche performance but refuses to sacrifice the utility needed for a GCC family lifestyle. It represents a sharp opportunity to own a highly specced, regionally optimized EV that is still well within its peak operational life.
