Summary

This 2023 Dodge Challenger RT Scat Pack Widebody represents the final production year of a modern muscle legend, making it an essential find for enthusiasts in the GCC. With only 16,079 km on the clock, it has been driven significantly less than the 25,000 km annual average typical for the region, preserving its mechanical life and cabin freshness. The Widebody trim is particularly sought after in the UAE market for its aggressive stance and superior mechanical grip provided by factory-widened fenders and performance tires. This specific example features the iconic Green exterior, a color that holds a dedicated following and maintains strong resale appeal among muscle car collectors. For the GCC buyer, this car offers the ideal blend of high-output performance and reliable, naturally aspirated engineering built to handle our climate's demands.

This Car vs Other 2023 Challengers

At just over 16,000 km, this Challenger is in the lowest tier of mileage for its age in the GCC, where 3-year-old performance cars often exceed 50,000 km. Its GCC specification ensures the cooling system and air conditioning are factory-calibrated for extreme summer heat, offering better long-term reliability than imported North American units. The unique Green finish stands out in a market dominated by white and grey, often attracting a premium from buyers seeking a specific enthusiast look.

RT SCAT PACK WIDE BODY vs Lower Trims

The Scat Pack Widebody is a major leap over the standard R/T, replacing the 5.7L engine with a more potent 6.4L 392 HEMI V8. It adds 3.5 inches of width to the body, allowing for much wider 305-series tires that drastically improve traction on high-temperature GCC asphalt. Additionally, you get six-piston Brembo front brakes and an adaptive Bilstein suspension system that provides better stability during high-speed highway cruising compared to the base suspension.

Challenger vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Ford Mustang GT and Chevrolet Camaro SS, the Challenger offers the most usable interior with a genuine five-seat capacity and the largest boot in its class. Its longer wheelbase makes it a superior grand tourer for long drives between Dubai and Riyadh, offering a more composed and comfortable ride on the highway. While rivals focus on track agility, the Challenger leads in sheer presence and cabin space for daily GCC ownership.

Running Costs & Resale

The naturally aspirated HEMI engine is known for its durability in the region, with specialized service centers available across all major GCC cities. Maintenance typically follows a 10,000 km interval, though more frequent oil checks are recommended during the peak summer months to protect the V8 internals. As the final model year of this generation, this Challenger is expected to depreciate slower than previous years, potentially becoming a future collectible in the GCC market.

Performance & Capability

The 6.4L HEMI delivers a verified 0–100 km/h time of 4.3 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power on multi-lane highways. With 470 horsepower sent exclusively to the rear wheels, the TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic is calibrated to handle the high torque output while maintaining smoothness in city traffic. Multiple drive modes, including Track and Sport, allow the driver to sharpen the steering and suspension response instantly for a more focused driving experience.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for long-distance comfort, featuring bolstered performance seats and the intuitive 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen. It includes standard ventilated front seats, a critical feature for the GCC climate that ensures comfort during midday drives. The dual-zone climate control system is exceptionally powerful, effectively cooling the large coupe cabin even when ambient temperatures exceed 45 degrees Celsius.

Safety

Standard safety features include high-performance Brembo brakes for shorter stopping distances and a comprehensive suite of airbags. For fast-moving GCC highway traffic, the blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-path detection systems provide essential assistance. Electronic stability control and traction management are specifically tuned to handle the high power output, ensuring the car remains predictable on various road surfaces.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast looking for the definitive modern muscle car experience, this low-mileage 2023 Widebody offers a rare combination of collector-grade condition and daily usability in the GCC.
