Summary

This 2023 Ferrari SF90 Spider is a collector-grade example with delivery-only mileage, representing the pinnacle of the Prancing Horse’s hybrid engineering. Finished in Ferrari’s iconic red, this car offers the strongest possible resale appeal in the GCC market, where the color remains the gold standard for value retention. As the most powerful production convertible in the brand’s history, it bridges the gap between traditional V8 soul and a futuristic 1000 hp electrified drivetrain. For a buyer in the UAE or wider GCC, the ability to bypass multi-year waiting lists for a car in essentially new condition is a significant advantage. The plug-in hybrid system is particularly useful in the region, allowing for silent morning departures before unleashing hypercar-rivaling performance on open highways.

This Car vs Other 2023 SF90s

With just 80 km on the odometer, this SF90 Spider is effectively a new vehicle, sitting far below the typical 5,000–8,000 km usually seen on year-old supercars in the UAE. Its classic red exterior is the most liquid color in the GCC used market, ensuring it stays at the top of the valuation curve compared to more experimental shades. For local buyers, a car with such minimal usage represents a rare chance to own a pristine flagship without the typical wear associated with the region's heat and high-speed highway use.

SPIDER vs Lower Trims

The Spider trim adds a sophisticated retractable hardtop that opens in just 14 seconds, transforming the SF90 from a focused track-slayer into an open-air grand tourer. Unlike many convertibles, it retains nearly all the structural rigidity of the Stradale coupe while adding a transparent engine cover to showcase the V8. It also features a unique power-adjustable rear wind deflector, which is essential for maintaining cabin composure during high-speed drives across the Emirates.

SF90 vs Segment Rivals

The SF90 Spider outclasses rivals like the Lamborghini Revuelto and McLaren Artura Spider by utilizing a sophisticated three-motor AWD system that provides unmatched torque vectoring. Its 1000 hp output places it in a different performance bracket than most production convertibles, offering hypercar acceleration with the daily usability of a modern Ferrari. The addition of the eDrive mode allows for 25 km of silent electric range, a luxury feature that many competitors in this performance tier cannot match.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption is remarkably efficient for a 1000 hp car, benefiting from the hybrid system in stop-start traffic in cities like Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals are typically annual or every 20,000 km, and this 2023 model benefits from Ferrari’s 7-year Genuine Maintenance program, which is transferable to the new owner across the GCC. While flagships depreciate, the SF90 Spider’s status as a first-of-its-kind hybrid flagship helps it retain value better than standard series-production mid-engine Ferraris.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is the 2.5-second sprint to 100 km/h, enabled by the RAC-e electric front axle that provides literal 'pull' out of corners. The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 works in harmony with three electric motors to provide a seamless wall of power that doesn't taper off until it reaches the 340 km/h top speed. All-wheel drive ensures that this immense power is actually usable on the diverse road surfaces found throughout the GCC, from polished city asphalt to sandy coastal roads.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a digital-first environment featuring a 16-inch curved digital instrument cluster and a head-up display that keeps vital stats in the driver's line of sight. The seats are designed to provide support during high-G cornering while remaining comfortable enough for the two-hour drive between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Ferrari’s climate control system is engineered to maintain cabin temperatures even with the top down, a vital consideration for the warmer months in the Middle East.

Safety

Safety is managed by an advanced side-slip control (eSSC) system and high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes that provide immense stopping power from high speeds. The AWD system provides a significant safety margin in the rare event of rain or on sand-dusted highways, while front and rear parking sensors and a 360-degree camera assist in navigating tight urban environments. Standard ADAS features ensure the car is as safe during a relaxed highway cruise as it is capable on a track.

The bottom line

This is a delivery-mileage flagship in the GCC’s most desirable color, offering a shortcut to the absolute peak of Ferrari performance. It is the ideal choice for a collector who demands a like-new vehicle with a verified service history and maximum resale potential.
