Summary

This 2023 Bronco Sport Outer Banks offers a refined take on Ford's rugged heritage, combining urban sophistication with genuine trail capability. With only 23,000 km, this vehicle sits well below the typical GCC annual mileage average, making it an exceptionally fresh entry in the pre-owned market. The Outer Banks trim is a standout choice for those who want the Bronco's iconic boxy styling paired with premium leather-trimmed interiors and advanced tech. While the Grey exterior is a resilient, high-resale choice for the region, buyers should note this is an American spec vehicle, which often offers higher interior specifications than regional equivalents. It is an ideal companion for the daily Dubai commute that can still handle light desert trails on the weekend.

This Car vs Other 2023 Bronco Sports

At just 23,000 km, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the 40,000–50,000 km typically seen on two-year-old SUVs in the UAE. The Grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the GCC climate, showing less dust than darker shades and maintaining strong resale demand. As an American spec model, it features the 1.5L EcoBoost engine which is widely serviced across the UAE's independent specialist network.

Outer Banks vs Lower Trims

The Outer Banks trim significantly elevates the cabin experience over the Big Bend, introducing leather-trimmed power-adjustable seats and a heated steering wheel. It also adds premium aesthetic touches like 18-inch machined-face aluminum wheels and signature LED lighting that aren't standard on lower models. You also benefit from dual-zone automatic climate control and ambient lighting, which are essential for maintaining comfort during the peak GCC summer months.

Bronco Sport vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota RAV4 or Honda CR-V, the Bronco Sport leads with its specialized G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) modes, providing superior hardware for loose sand and gravel. Its safari-style roof provides more vertical cargo space than most compact crossovers, making it better suited for camping gear. While rivals focus on car-like dynamics, the Bronco Sport maintains a rugged 201 mm ground clearance that gives it a clear advantage on weekend escapes to the wadis.

Running Costs & Resale

The 1.5L 3-cylinder engine is designed for efficiency, delivering approximately 9.0 L/100km in mixed driving, which helps manage costs during long inter-emirate highway trips. While GCC spec Fords are common, American spec models like this one are well-supported by the UAE’s extensive network of Ford-specialist garages. Resale value for the Bronco Sport remains high due to the brand's cult following, typically depreciating at a slower rate than more generic compact SUVs in the regional market.

Performance & Capability

The 181 horsepower EcoBoost engine provides punchy low-end torque that is perfect for navigating city traffic and climbing dunes. The standard 4WD system works in tandem with five terrain modes to optimize traction on everything from slippery rain-slicked roads to soft sand. With a maximum ground clearance of 201 mm and a short wheelbase, it offers a nimble driving experience that larger 4x4s cannot match in tight urban environments.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for both durability and comfort, featuring premium leather seats that are easy to clean after a day at the beach. The dual-zone climate control is robust enough to handle extreme desert heat, while the 8-inch SYNC touchscreen provides seamless smartphone integration. Clever storage solutions like the MOLLE strap system on the seatbacks make this a highly organized space for family road trips.

Safety

This trim comes standard with the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite, including Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) and Cross-Traffic Alert, which are invaluable on busy multi-lane highways like Sheikh Zayed Road. It also features Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and Lane-Keeping Assist to provide peace of mind during long desert drives. The combination of seven airbags and a high-strength steel frame ensures top-tier occupant protection.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a low-mileage, high-trim Bronco Sport that perfectly bridges the gap between a daily city commuter and a weekend adventure rig.
