Infiniti QX55 ESSENTIAL 2.0

Highlights

• Most advanced ADAS standard
• Top-tier audio system standard
• Lowest depreciation in class

Summary

This 2023 Infiniti QX55 in ESSENTIAL trim represents a rare opportunity to acquire a nearly-new luxury crossover with exceptionally low mileage that sits well below the typical GCC annual average. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it offers the highest level of regional compatibility, ensuring the air conditioning and cooling systems are optimized for the intense local heat. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the Middle East, significantly bolstering its future resale value and ease of maintenance. Standing out with its bold coupe-like silhouette, this model provides a more aggressive aesthetic than the traditional QX50 while retaining the mechanical reliability Infiniti is known for. For a buyer in the UAE or wider GCC, this listing combines the peace of mind of a practically new car with the immediate availability that avoids long showroom waiting lists. It bridges the gap between a high-performance luxury vehicle and a practical daily driver suitable for the unique demands of regional highways.

This Car vs Other 2023 QX55s

When comparing this specific unit to other 2023 models on the market, the most striking differentiator is the odometer reading, which is significantly lower than the GCC average of 20,000 km per year. Most vehicles of this age have already seen extensive commutes between Emirates, yet this car remains in a condition that mirrors its original showroom state. The white exterior paint is a strategic advantage for the local climate, as it reflects heat better than darker tones and remains the most liquid color for resale in the UAE and Saudi markets. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it carries the correct regional radiator and AC compressor specifications, which are often compromised in imported American or European examples. This ensures that the vehicle remains under local support structures and retains a higher valuation than its non-regional counterparts. It effectively offers the experience of a brand-new car at a secondary market entry point.

ESSENTIAL vs Lower Trims

Choosing the ESSENTIAL trim over the base LUXE variant introduces a suite of premium features that are highly valued by GCC drivers. This trim upgrades the cabin with a Bose Performance Series 16-speaker audio system, providing a studio-quality sound experience that is essential for long desert highway drives. Safety and convenience are significantly enhanced through the addition of the Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, making parking in tight urban spaces much simpler. The interior also benefits from leather-appointed seating and a heated steering wheel, alongside climate-controlled front seats that provide vital ventilation during the summer months. Furthermore, the ESSENTIAL trim includes the ProPILOT Assist suite as standard, which provides a higher level of semi-autonomous driving capability compared to the basic cruise control found on lower models. These additions not only improve the daily driving experience but also ensure the car remains competitive in the used market where high-spec models are preferred.

QX55 vs Segment Rivals

The Infiniti QX55 competes in the fiercely contested luxury crossover coupe segment against rivals like the BMW X4 and the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe. One of its primary advantages in the GCC is the VC-Turbo engine, which offers a unique balance of power and efficiency that many traditional turbocharged rivals struggle to match. The QX55 typically offers a more generous standard equipment list at this trim level than its German competitors, where features like 360-degree cameras and advanced ADAS are often expensive optional extras. For the GCC buyer, the Infiniti also benefits from a robust and widely available service network through Al Masaood and Arabian Automobiles in the UAE, providing more accessible maintenance than some boutique European brands. The cabin design prioritizes a dual-screen interface that keeps navigation and media separate, a layout that many find more intuitive for long-distance regional travel. Its striking 'digital piano key' taillights and aggressive grille also give it a more distinctive road presence in a market saturated with more conservative designs.

Running Costs & Resale

Running costs for this vehicle are highly competitive within the premium crossover segment, particularly given the efficiency of the 2.0L variable compression engine. In GCC conditions, you can expect a balanced fuel consumption profile that performs admirably during steady-state highway cruising between cities. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km or 6 months, and the authorized service infrastructure across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait is among the best in the region. Infiniti models in the GCC generally experience a depreciation rate of approximately 12-15% annually, which is more stable than many European rivals that can see steeper drops. Parts availability is excellent due to shared components across the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance, ensuring that long-term maintenance remains affordable even after the warranty period. This specific vehicle's GCC status and white color further protect its value, making it a safer financial asset than an imported or high-mileage equivalent.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this vehicle is the innovative 2.0-liter 4-cylinder Variable Compression Turbo engine, which physically transforms its compression ratio to optimize either power or efficiency depending on your driving style. This technology allows for seamless overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways while maintaining the fuel economy of a much smaller engine during city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. The automatic transmission is tuned for smoothness, providing a linear power delivery that enhances cabin tranquility. While this is a front-wheel-drive configuration optimized for urban efficiency and highway stability, its ground clearance allows for confident navigation over speed humps and the occasional gravel track. The 0-100 km/h performance is brisk enough to handle the pace of modern GCC traffic, ensuring you are never underpowered when merging onto 140 km/h zones. It is a vehicle designed for the modern executive or small family who prioritizes a refined on-road experience over heavy off-road capability.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin of the QX55 ESSENTIAL is a sanctuary designed to withstand the harsh GCC climate, featuring a powerful triple-zone climate control system that can cool the interior rapidly after being parked in the sun. The seating for four is arranged to provide maximum personal space, with high-quality materials covering every touchpoint. The active noise cancellation technology works in tandem with the acoustic glass to keep the cabin remarkably quiet, shielding occupants from wind noise during high-speed highway travel. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated air vents and sufficient legroom for adult comfort, a rarity in many coupe-styled SUVs. The Bose audio system is specifically tuned for this cabin's acoustics, providing an immersive experience that makes long-distance travel across the Emirates much more enjoyable. Storage is also well-considered, with a boot space that remains practical despite the sloping roofline, easily accommodating golf clubs or weekend luggage for a trip to Oman.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of the ESSENTIAL trim, which comes equipped with the ProPILOT Assist system, a suite of technologies that significantly reduces driver fatigue on long desert stretches. This includes Intelligent Cruise Control and Steering Assist, which help keep the vehicle centered in its lane and at a safe distance from traffic ahead. Blind Spot Warning and Intervention are particularly useful on the multi-lane highways of the GCC, where fast-moving traffic requires constant vigilance. The vehicle also features Predictive Forward Collision Warning, which can monitor two cars ahead to alert you to potential hazards before they become visible. In the event of an emergency, the Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection provides an extra layer of protection. These active systems, combined with a robust airbag suite and high-strength construction, ensure that all occupants are protected to the highest standards.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec Infiniti QX55 ESSENTIAL is the perfect choice for a style-conscious buyer who wants the luxury and warranty peace of mind of a new car without the initial depreciation hit. Given its incredibly low mileage and regional optimization, it is one of the strongest value propositions currently available in the premium crossover market.
