Summary

This 2023 McLaren GT offers a compelling entry into the supercar world with mileage that is exceptionally low for a three-year-old vehicle in the GCC. The Red exterior is a vibrant, high-visibility choice that holds strong appeal in the local market, ensuring better-than-average resale interest. Unlike its more track-focused siblings, the GT is engineered for the long-distance highway hauls common between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, blending explosive power with a refined, compliant ride. As a GCC-spec model, it features the necessary cooling and regional software to handle the intense summer heat while maintaining its manufacturer-backed pedigree. For the buyer who wants a daily-usable exotic that doesn't sacrifice performance, this low-mileage example represents a significant saving over a new GTS.

This Car vs Other 2023 McLaren GTs

With just 13,820 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC. Its low usage suggests a life as a weekend car rather than a daily commuter, preserving the integrity of its 4.0L engine and cabin materials. The Red paint is a classic, high-demand choice for supercars in the UAE, providing a sharper resale edge over more conservative grey or silver specifications.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The GT is offered as a single, comprehensive trim level, though this example is equipped with essential local upgrades including the vehicle lift system for navigating speed bumps and steep underground parking ramps. It comes standard with the Proactive Damping Control suspension, which uses sensors to read the road ahead and adjust in milliseconds—a feature that transforms the driving experience on varied GCC road surfaces. Inside, you benefit from the standard 12.3-inch digital cockpit and the electrochromic panoramic roof that can adjust tint levels to block out the harsh Arabian sun.

GT vs Segment Rivals

The McLaren GT leads rivals like the Ferrari Roma and Aston Martin DB11 in pure practicality, offering a total of 570 litres of storage space across the front frunk and rear bay. While competitors often prioritize heavy grand touring luxury, the McLaren maintains a lightweight carbon fibre Monocell II-T chassis, resulting in superior power-to-weight and agility. Its mid-mounted engine configuration provides a level of steering precision and balance that front-engined rivals in this class simply cannot match.

Running Costs & Resale

Typical fuel consumption for the 4.0L V8 in GCC conditions averages around 10.8 L/100km, though this will increase in stop-start city traffic in Downtown Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals are generally required every 15,000 km or annually, and as a GCC-spec vehicle, it is fully supported by the authorized McLaren service network across the UAE and wider region. Supercars in this category typically see a depreciation of 12-15% annually, but this example's exceptionally low mileage helps insulate its value compared to higher-use alternatives.

Performance & Capability

The twin-turbocharged V8 delivers a massive 620 PS and 630 Nm of torque, enabling a top speed of 326 km/h. On the open highways of the Emirates, the 7-speed Seamless Shift Gearbox provides instant overtaking power, while the Active Dynamics panel allows the driver to switch from a comfortable cruise to a sharp, track-ready setting. The hydraulic steering remains one of the best in the industry, offering tactile feedback that makes every drive engaging.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a driver-focused environment lined in premium Nappa leather, featuring Dual-Zone Climate Control designed to cope with extreme temperatures. Unlike many supercars, the GT offers excellent outward visibility and a higher ground clearance option, making it far more manageable for daily tasks. The Bowers & Wilkins 12-speaker audio system provides exceptional clarity, ensuring a high-end experience even when you aren't listening to the V8's exhaust note.

Safety

Safety is anchored by a high-strength carbon fibre safety cell and advanced Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with three distinct modes for different grip levels. The standard Braking Steer system helps tuck the nose into corners by applying subtle braking to the inside rear wheel, while front and rear parking sensors paired with a high-definition camera aid in navigating tight urban spaces. This trim also includes Hill Hold Assist and full LED lighting for maximum visibility during night drives across the desert.

The bottom line

This is the perfect supercar for the UAE enthusiast who wants 3.2-second performance without the typical practical compromises, further sweetened by its low mileage and local GCC specification.
