Summary

This 2023 Panamera GTS is a standout example of Porsche's driver-focused grand tourer, offering the perfect middle ground between everyday usability and track-ready performance. At three years old with 43,201 km, its mileage is considered average for the GCC, where long-distance highway commutes between emirates are common. The GTS trim is highly coveted in the local market for its standard V8 engine and sport-tuned chassis, both of which command a premium at resale compared to V6 models. Finished in Grey—a high-demand, high-resale color in the region—this vehicle is ideally suited for the UAE’s fast-moving highways and extreme summer temperatures thanks to its robust cooling and high-performance engineering. It offers a rare opportunity to own a current-generation V8 Panamera that balances executive luxury with genuine sports car DNA.

This Car vs Other 2023 Panameras

With 43,201 km over three years, this Panamera has been driven approximately 14,400 km per year, which is lower than the typical GCC average of 20,000 km. The Grey exterior is a strategic choice for the local market, offering excellent heat reflection and maintaining stronger resale value than bolder, niche colors. Its GCC specification ensures full compatibility with local service centers and a cooling system optimized for the region's intense summer heat.

GTS vs Lower Trims

The GTS serves as the entry point into Porsche’s elite V8 lineup, replacing the 2.9-litre V6 found in the Panamera 4 and 4S. Beyond the significant power bump, the GTS adds essential performance hardware as standard, including the Sport Chrono package, a sport exhaust system with a distinct V8 growl, and a 10mm lower air suspension tuned for sharper handling. Interior upgrades often include GTS-specific Alcantara upholstery and more aggressive sports seats that are highly prized by regional enthusiasts.

Panamera vs Segment Rivals

The Panamera GTS competes directly with the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe and the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door. It leads the segment in terms of pure driving dynamics and brand prestige, offering a lower, more car-like seating position that feels closer to a 911 than its rivals. For GCC buyers, its 90-litre fuel tank provides superior highway range for long drives to Muscat or Riyadh compared to many performance-oriented competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 4.0-litre V8 typically averages around 13.7 L/100km in combined cycles, though GCC city traffic can push this higher. Porsche maintains one of the strongest resale profiles for European luxury brands in the UAE, with the GTS trim traditionally depreciating slower than the base V6 or high-complexity hybrid models. Authorized service centers are widely available across major GCC cities, with standard minor service intervals recommended every 15,000 km or 12 months.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this GTS is a twin-turbo V8 delivering 480 hp and 620 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 3.9 seconds. Its all-wheel-drive system and 8-speed PDK transmission provide exceptional traction and lightning-fast shifts, perfect for confident overtaking on the E11. Standard adaptive air suspension allows you to raise the vehicle for speed bumps or lower it for high-speed stability, ensuring a composed ride across varying road surfaces.

Comfort & Cabin

Designed as a four-seat executive express, the cabin features two individual rear seats divided by a center console, ensuring maximum comfort for all passengers. The Porsche Communication Management system includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen with seamless smartphone integration and navigation optimized for the region. High-grade materials and excellent sound insulation make it a serene environment for long-distance travel, even when the V8 is working hard.

Safety

This GTS comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and forward collision warning with autonomous braking. These systems are particularly valuable for managing the fast-moving traffic and long highway stretches common in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Multiple airbags and a high-strength steel-aluminum hybrid body shell provide world-class protection for all four occupants.

The bottom line

This GTS is the definitive choice for a GCC buyer who wants the soul of a Porsche sports car in a practical four-door body. It represents a high-spec, well-maintained opportunity in a market that continues to value V8 performance and regional reliability.
