Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 3.3 seconds
• 547 km electric range (WLTP)
• 250 kW peak DC charging standard

Summary

This 3-year-old Performance trim offers a rare combination of supercar-level acceleration and daily practicality, maintaining strong resale appeal in the GCC market thanks to its Grey exterior. With just 26,677 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical 60,000 km expected for a car of this age in the region. The Model 3 stands out for its unmatched software integration and access to the reliable Tesla Supercharger network, which is the most robust charging infrastructure across the UAE. For a local buyer, the specialized track-ready chassis and dual-motor AWD system provide exceptional stability on fast-moving UAE highways.

This Car vs Other 2023 Model 3s

At 26,677 km, this vehicle’s mileage is exceptionally low for a 3-year-old car in the GCC, where the annual average often exceeds 20,000 km. The Grey exterior is a neutral, high-demand color that traditionally supports better value retention in the UAE compared to more niche shades. Buying a low-mileage example like this ensures significantly more remaining life on the 8-year battery warranty.

PERFORMANCE vs Lower Trims

The Performance trim upgrades the standard experience with 20-inch wheels, high-performance brakes, and a lowered suspension for sharper handling. Inside, it adds premium aluminum pedals and a carbon fiber spoiler, alongside the dedicated 'Track Mode' which is not available on Rear-Wheel Drive or Long Range variants. You also benefit from the 13-speaker premium audio system as standard, providing a superior acoustic experience during long commutes.

Model 3 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the BMW i4 or Polestar 2, the Model 3 Performance leads in efficiency and weight management, resulting in more agile handling. Its dedicated EV platform provides significantly more interior storage, including a functional front trunk (frunk) that most combustion-platform competitors lack. The integration of the Tesla Supercharger network remains a decisive factor for GCC drivers planning trips between Emirates or across the border to Oman.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world efficiency in GCC summer conditions typically ranges between 17 and 22 kWh/100km depending on AC usage, which is far more cost-effective than petrol equivalents. Tesla vehicles in the UAE retain roughly 60% of their value after three years, outperforming many luxury European electric rivals. Service intervals are minimal with no oil changes required; maintenance generally involves cabin filter replacements every two years and brake fluid checks every four years.

Performance & Capability

The 0–100 km/h sprint of 3.3 seconds provides effortless overtaking power on the E11 and other major UAE motorways. The Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive system ensures maximum traction even during the occasional heavy rain or on sandy road shoulders. With a top speed of 261 km/h, this sedan offers a level of high-speed composure that few cars in this price bracket can match.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features a minimalist design centered around a 15-inch touchscreen that controls everything from navigation to the powerful AC system designed for desert climates. Heated and power-adjustable front seats come standard, while the panoramic glass roof is treated to reflect UV rays and minimize heat soak during peak summer months. The quiet electric powertrain ensures a refined environment, shielded from city traffic noise.

Safety

This Model 3 comes standard with a comprehensive ADAS suite including Autopilot, which provides lane-keeping and adaptive cruise control for relaxed highway driving. Standard safety features include eight airbags, automatic emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring that is particularly useful for the multi-lane traffic common in Dubai and Riyadh. Its low center of gravity due to the floor-mounted battery significantly reduces rollover risk.

The bottom line

This is a prime opportunity for a buyer seeking a near-new performance EV with exceptionally low mileage and a high-retention color. It offers the perfect balance of blistering speed and low running costs for the discerning GCC commuter.
