Tesla Model 3 LONG RANGE

Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 4.4 seconds
• 629 km electric range (WLTP)
• 250 kW peak DC charging

Summary

This 2024 Model 3 Long Range represents the major 'Highland' refresh, featuring significantly improved cabin materials and acoustic glass for a quieter ride. With 48,000 km, the mileage is slightly higher than the average for its first year, but as a GCC-spec vehicle, it retains the peace of mind of local warranty and service support. The Red exterior is a standout choice in a sea of white and silver, offering strong visibility and a premium look that holds its appeal in the secondary market. Compared to the base trim, the Long Range provides superior all-wheel drive stability and substantially faster charging, making it the definitive choice for those commuting between emirates. For a GCC buyer looking for the latest EV technology without the waitlist, this refreshed sedan offers the perfect balance of immediate availability and modern refinement.

This Car vs Other 2024 Model 3s

At 48,000 km, this vehicle has been driven more than the typical 20,000 km annual GCC average, suggesting regular highway use where EVs operate with high mechanical efficiency. As a GCC-spec 'Highland' refresh model, it holds a significant value advantage over imported American or European units that lack local warranty and Supercharger compatibility. The Red paint is a premium color option that provides a distinctive alternative to common fleet colors while maintaining good resale interest.

LONG RANGE vs Lower Trims

The Long Range trim is a major step up from the base RWD, adding a second motor for all-wheel drive and a larger 82 kWh battery. Beyond performance, this trim upgrades the audio to a premium 17-speaker system with dual subwoofers and increases the peak DC charging rate to 250 kW for faster Supercharger stops. It also features a more premium interior door trim and extended battery warranty mileage compared to the standard model.

Model 3 vs Segment Rivals

The Model 3 leads rivals like the BMW i4 and Polestar 2 in charging infrastructure accessibility via the extensive Tesla Supercharger network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Its minimalist cabin features a new 8-inch rear passenger screen for climate and entertainment that many traditional luxury rivals still lack in this segment. Furthermore, the 0.219 drag coefficient ensures it remains one of the most efficient sedans for high-speed highway cruising between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Running Costs & Resale

Electric running costs in the UAE remain significantly lower than petrol equivalents, especially when utilizing home charging or DEWA infrastructure. Tesla's authorized service centers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and recently Riyadh, offer a streamlined maintenance experience with 20,000 km typical inspection intervals. While EVs generally see higher initial depreciation, the GCC-spec Model 3 currently enjoys the strongest resale demand of any electric sedan in the regional used market.

Performance & Capability

The dual-motor all-wheel drive system delivers a verified 0–100 km/h time of 4.4 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power on fast-moving GCC highways. The 82 kWh battery pack enables a WLTP-rated range of 629 km, allowing for round-trip commutes between major cities on a single charge. Its low center of gravity and revised 'Highland' suspension offer a more poised and comfortable ride quality through city traffic and open road bends alike.

Comfort & Cabin

The refreshed interior introduces ventilated front seats, a critical feature for the intense GCC summer heat, along with 360-degree acoustic glass that significantly reduces wind and road noise. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated cooling vents and a new integrated touchscreen for independent climate control. The minimalist dashboard is dominated by a bright 15.4-inch display, handling everything from navigation to local charging station availability.

Safety

This model carries a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating and comes standard with Tesla’s full suite of active safety technologies. Features like Side Collision Warning and Emergency Lane Departure Avoidance are particularly valuable for navigating multi-lane highway traffic. The rigid battery structure provides exceptional rollover protection, while standard blind-spot monitoring helps manage the fast-paced driving conditions typical of the region's urban centers.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for a tech-forward commuter who needs the extra range and AWD stability of the Long Range trim in the latest 'Highland' body style. It offers a turn-key entry into the Tesla ecosystem with the security of a GCC-spec regional warranty.
