Bentley Bentayga AZURE EWB

Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 4.6 seconds
• 290 km/h top speed
• All-wheel steering standard

Summary

This 2024 Azure EWB represents the pinnacle of the current Bentayga range, offering significantly more rear-seat legroom than the standard model. With only 16,000 km, this GCC-spec example is well below the typical 25,000 km annual average for luxury SUVs in the region, ensuring it remains in peak mechanical condition. The black exterior is the most resilient color for resale in the UAE and Saudi markets, providing a liquid asset for the next owner. For the GCC buyer, the Azure trim’s focus on cabin wellness and advanced cooling makes it the definitive choice for long-distance highway travel between the Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2024 Bentaygas

At 16,000 km, this vehicle's usage is exceptionally low compared to the 20,000–25,000 km typically seen on one-year-old luxury cars in the GCC. While many 2024 models on the market are standard wheelbase imports, this is a genuine GCC-spec Extended Wheelbase (EWB) unit, which carries a significant value premium and ensures full service support at authorized centers like Al Habtoor Motors or Al Ghassan.

AZURE EWB vs Lower Trims

The Azure EWB trim adds a 180mm wheelbase extension solely for rear-seat passengers, creating a cabin environment that rivals the flagship Mulsanne. Over the base EWB or 'S' trims, the Azure standardizes the Touring Specification for highway safety and the Front Seat Comfort Specification, featuring 22-way adjustable seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions for all primary occupants.

Bentayga vs Segment Rivals

The Bentayga Azure EWB leads the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Range Rover SV in high-speed agility thanks to its standard all-wheel steering system, which gives this large SUV a turning circle tighter than a standard-wheelbase Bentayga. Its 85-litre fuel tank provides a generous cruising range, essential for cross-border drives across the Arabian Peninsula where high-speed stability is paramount.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the twin-turbo V8 averages approximately 13.0 L/100km on a combined cycle, though this varies in GCC stop-start city traffic. Service intervals are required every 16,000 km or 12 months, and as a GCC-spec model, it retains strong resale desirability compared to American or European imports. Depreciation for the EWB Azure tends to be more stable than standard trims due to its position as a high-demand flagship variant in the regional market.

Performance & Capability

Despite its extended proportions, the 549 hp V8 propels the Azure to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, offering effortless overtaking power on the E11 or Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. The Bentley Dynamic Ride system uses a 48V active anti-roll bar to keep the cabin perfectly level through corners, translating to exceptional stability during high-speed highway cruising. Multiple drive modes allow for specific calibration for varied surfaces, ensuring a composed ride even when venturing onto gravel or sand tracks.

Comfort & Cabin

The EWB cabin is defined by its massive rear legroom and the inclusion of an air ionizer to maintain air quality during the dusty summer months. The Azure trim features unique diamond-quilted leather and mood lighting, creating a sanctuary-like atmosphere that remains quiet even at high speeds due to advanced acoustic glass. For GCC owners, the highly efficient four-zone climate control and ventilated seating are essential for maintaining comfort during 45°C+ summer peaks.

Safety

This Azure trim comes standard with the Touring Specification, providing a full ADAS suite including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist, and a Head-Up Display which are invaluable for long desert highway drives. The inclusion of Night Vision and a 360-degree camera system ensures safe maneuvering in both unlit rural areas and tight urban parking environments. These active systems are paired with a comprehensive 10-airbag array to provide top-tier occupant protection.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a buyer seeking the ultimate flagship SUV that has already bypassed the initial steep depreciation of a new car while remaining in near-new condition.
