Summary

This 2024 Exeed LX in the COMFORT trim offers an exceptional blend of premium technology and practical everyday usability that is quickly making the brand a favorite across the GCC. While the mileage reflects a very active first year of ownership, this is common for modern crossovers in the region where long-distance highway commuting is the norm, and the car remains in its prime mechanical window. The vibrant Red exterior is a standout choice that provides a refreshing alternative to the usual monochrome palette seen on UAE roads while maintaining good resale appeal due to its modern finish. As a GCC spec vehicle, it is purpose-built to handle the local climate with a cooling system and interior materials designed for high-temperature durability. This model stands out for offering luxury-tier features at a much more accessible price point than its European counterparts. For a buyer looking for a near-new SUV that feels significantly more expensive than it is, this LX represents a smart, tech-forward investment. The combination of its remaining manufacturer support and the high level of standard equipment makes it a compelling choice in the current market.

This Car vs Other 2024 Exeed LXs

When comparing this specific 2024 Exeed LX to others on the market, the primary differentiator is its verified GCC specification and its real-world usage profile. The mileage on this unit is higher than the average for a single year of ownership, but in the GCC context, this often indicates consistent highway driving between emirates rather than taxing stop-and-go city traffic. Highway miles are generally easier on the 1.5L turbocharged engine and transmission, as the vehicle operates at stable temperatures with optimal airflow. The Red exterior is a premium paint option that retains its depth and gloss exceptionally well under the intense Arabian sun compared to darker shades. Choosing a 2024 model allows you to benefit from the latest software updates and interior refinements that Exeed introduced for this production cycle. This vehicle has been maintained to meet the rigorous demands of local driving, ensuring that all rubber seals and cooling components are in excellent condition despite the distance covered. It represents a significant saving over a zero-kilometer alternative while offering the exact same modern aesthetic and feature set.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The COMFORT trim serves as a sophisticated entry point into the Exeed universe, offering a surprising level of luxury that many other brands reserve for their flagship variants. Moving into this trim ensures you receive the high-definition dual-screen cockpit which completely transforms the interior feel compared to basic layouts found in lower-tier crossovers. You also benefit from enhanced cabin materials, including soft-touch surfaces and premium upholstery that are specifically treated to resist the fading effects of UV exposure. One of the most significant upgrades in the COMFORT trim is the inclusion of advanced parking sensors and a high-resolution camera system, which are essential for navigating tight mall parking spaces in Dubai or Riyadh. The climate control system in this trim is also more robust, featuring dedicated logic for rapid cabin pull-down during the peak summer months. Furthermore, the exterior is elevated with larger alloy wheels and signature LED lighting that gives the car a much more commanding presence on the road. This trim is designed for the buyer who wants the full 'premium' experience without the unnecessary complexity of ultra-high-end mechanical additions.

LX vs Segment Rivals

In the highly competitive compact SUV segment, the Exeed LX goes head-to-head with rivals like the Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, and MG HS. Where the Exeed LX takes the lead is in its standard technology suite; while many competitors require expensive 'Tech Packs' to get a digital dashboard, the LX provides it as a standard design element. Its 1.5L turbocharged engine is tuned for a balance of efficiency and low-end torque, which is particularly useful for merging onto fast-moving highways like the E11. The LX also boasts one of the most generous boot capacities in its class, providing more vertical loading space than the Sportage, which is a major advantage for family grocery runs or weekend trips. Interior quietness is another area where Exeed has invested heavily, utilizing better sound insulation than many of its more established Japanese rivals to ensure a peaceful cabin even at 120 km/h. Additionally, the LX offers a more modern, minimalist interior design language that makes the cabins of many segment veterans feel dated by comparison. For the GCC buyer, the combination of a high-strength steel cage and superior standard safety tech makes it a more modern choice than the base models of its competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Running an Exeed LX in the GCC is remarkably cost-effective thanks to its efficient 1.5L 4-cylinder engine which runs perfectly on standard 95-octane petrol. Real-world fuel consumption is impressive, especially during steady-state highway cruising where the engine can achieve excellent economy figures, minimizing the frequency of refueling during cross-country drives. Service intervals are typically set at every 10,000 km, and the authorized service network for Exeed is expanding rapidly across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts and expert technicians are always within reach. Being a GCC spec car, it holds its value significantly better than 'grey market' imports because it retains full eligibility for local service contracts and manufacturer-backed support. Depreciation for the Exeed brand has stabilized as the marque gains more recognition for reliability and luxury in the local market, currently performing competitively against mid-range European brands. At the three-year mark, an LX is expected to retain a solid percentage of its original value, particularly if it continues to be serviced within the authorized network. The ease of sourcing mechanical parts through established distributors further lowers the long-term cost of ownership compared to niche luxury brands.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5L turbocharged engine is the heart of the LX, delivering smooth and predictable power that is perfectly suited for city commuting and highway travel. The automatic transmission is tuned for comfort, providing seamless gear changes that eliminate the jerkiness often found in more basic SUVs. With its Front Wheel Drive (FWD) configuration, the LX is lighter and more fuel-efficient than heavy AWD alternatives, making it more agile in urban environments. It offers a 0-100 km/h performance that is more than adequate for daily needs, ensuring you can confidently overtake slower traffic on the highway. The ground clearance is a notable highlight, allowing the LX to handle high speed bumps and uneven gravel paths leading to beach spots or parks without any risk of underbody scrapes. The suspension has been specifically calibrated to soak up road imperfections, providing a 'big car' feel in a compact footprint. Whether you are driving through the humidity of the coast or the dry heat of the interior deserts, the mechanical cooling systems are designed to keep the engine operating at peak performance without power loss. This is a crossover that prioritizes a refined, stable ride over aggressive sports car dynamics, making it ideal for the long-distance nature of GCC life.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside the Exeed LX, the focus on 'Premium Hospitality' is evident from the moment you open the door. The five-seat layout is designed to maximize legroom for both front and rear passengers, ensuring that even adult occupants can travel comfortably on longer journeys between cities. The air conditioning system is a standout feature, engineered to cope with 45°C+ temperatures by utilizing high-output vents and a powerful compressor that cools the cabin in minutes. Noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) levels are kept to a minimum through extensive use of acoustic glass and sound-deadening materials, creating a serene environment for the 5-speaker audio system. The dual-screen setup is the centerpiece of the cabin, offering intuitive control over vehicle settings, media, and navigation with a crispness that rivals luxury German brands. Storage is plentiful, with clever cubbies for phones, sunglasses, and drinks, which are essential for staying organized during a busy UAE work week. The Red exterior is complemented by a sophisticated interior trim that feels modern and durable, designed to withstand the wear and tear of family life while remaining easy to clean. Rear passengers also enjoy their own dedicated air vents, ensuring that the cooling performance is consistent throughout the entire vehicle.

Safety

Safety is a cornerstone of the Exeed LX philosophy, and this COMFORT trim comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of active and passive systems. It features multiple airbags and a high-strength chassis designed to absorb impact energy, contributing to its top-tier safety ratings. The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) included in this model are particularly beneficial for the high-speed, multi-lane highways of the GCC, providing features like Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control that keep the car planted even in sudden wind or on sandy surfaces. Blind-spot monitoring and lane departure alerts act as a second set of eyes, which is invaluable in the fast-paced traffic of Dubai or Riyadh. The braking system is reinforced with ABS and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, ensuring short stopping distances even when the vehicle is fully loaded with passengers and luggage. For families, the ISOFIX child seat anchors are easy to access and provide peace of mind for the youngest passengers. This level of safety equipment is often an expensive extra on European rivals, but in the LX, it is integrated into the core value proposition of the vehicle.

The bottom line

This 2024 Exeed LX COMFORT is a brilliant opportunity for a tech-savvy buyer who wants a near-new, GCC-spec SUV without the premium price tag of a showroom floor model. Its combination of modern aesthetics, class-leading cabin tech, and proven regional suitability makes it one of the best-value crossovers available in the market today.
