Summary

This listing represents a unique opportunity to acquire a nearly-new hybrid supercar with exceptionally low mileage for the GCC market. While many performance cars in the region accumulate significant kilometers on the long highways between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, this example has been kept in pristine condition. The neutral exterior color is a highly strategic choice for the UAE, as it balances heat reflection with excellent resale demand among local collectors. As a plug-in hybrid, it offers a level of versatility rarely seen in this segment, allowing for silent city driving in the Marina or Downtown while providing massive power on the open road. This European-spec model stands out for its specific interior configuration and immediate availability, bypassing the lengthy waitlists typically found at local dealerships. For a buyer looking for the perfect blend of modern technology and open-top driving, this is currently one of the most compelling options in the region.

This Car vs Other 2024 296s

With mileage significantly below the 20,000 km annual average for the GCC, this car is effectively in showroom condition. Most 2024 models in the secondary market have already seen several trips across the border or frequent weekend sprints, making this low-use example a standout for collectors. The exterior color is particularly suited for the dusty environments of the UAE and Saudi Arabia, hiding light road film much better than darker shades while maintaining a high resale value. This specific European-spec variant has been meticulously maintained and offers a distinct interior palette that differentiates it from the standard configurations often seen at local events. Choosing a car with such limited use ensures that all mechanical components, especially the hybrid battery system, are at their peak performance levels. It represents a significant shortcut for a buyer who wants a current-year flagship without the typical depreciation or wear of a daily-driven supercar.

GTS vs Lower Trims

Moving to this specific trim introduces the Retractable Hard Top (RHT), which is a vital feature for the GCC climate. Unlike fabric roofs, this solid top provides superior thermal insulation during the intense summer heat, keeping the cabin significantly cooler. The interior also receives a more focused driver-centric layout with higher-grade materials compared to entry-level configurations. GCC buyers will appreciate the advanced digital interface and the specific cockpit ergonomics designed for high-speed grand touring. Additionally, the open-top nature allows drivers to fully experience the unique 'piccolo V12' exhaust note that defines this power unit. This trim effectively provides two cars in one: a quiet, insulated coupe for the daily commute and a visceral convertible for evening drives along the coast.

296 vs Segment Rivals

This model competes directly with the McLaren Artura and the Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica in the regional market. While rivals rely on larger displacement or different hybrid setups, this car leads the segment with its incredible power density and sophisticated energy recovery systems. The integration of the electric motor provides instant torque that is particularly useful for overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways. Its compact wheelbase also makes it more agile and easier to maneuver through tight urban areas like DIFC or the Pearl-Qatar compared to its wider competitors. Furthermore, the hybrid architecture allows for a silent start-up, which is a considerate feature for high-end residential neighborhoods in the early morning. It offers a more modern, tech-forward experience than almost anything else currently available in its class.

Running Costs & Resale

The hybrid powertrain significantly reduces fuel consumption during city idling and low-speed traffic, which is a major advantage in stop-start environments like Riyadh or Dubai. While it requires high-octane Super 98 fuel, the electric range helps stretch the intervals between visits to the station. Owners can utilize the growing network of EV chargers in malls and public parking areas across the Emirates to maintain battery health. Ferrari maintains a very strong authorized service presence in the UAE through Al Tayer Motors and across the wider GCC, ensuring that this European-spec car can be expertly maintained. Resale value for this model remains exceptionally high in the region due to its status as the brand's first V6 hybrid. Historical data for similar mid-rear engine models suggests an annual depreciation rate of only 10-12%, significantly outperforming many other European luxury marques in the local market.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure for this car is the 830-cv combined output, propelling it from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. This level of acceleration is world-class and places it in the top tier of performance vehicles currently registered in the GCC. On the long, straight highways of the region, the transition between electric and internal combustion power is seamless, providing a constant surge of acceleration. The car features multiple drive modes, including a dedicated eManettino for managing the hybrid system, allowing the driver to prioritize battery save or maximum performance. The braking system is equally impressive, utilizing brake-by-wire technology that provides consistent stopping power even in the high ambient temperatures of the desert. The top speed exceeds 330 km/h, a figure that highlights its engineering pedigree and high-speed stability. Whether navigating the winding roads of Jebel Jais or cruising the Sheikh Zayed Road, the performance is always accessible and refined.

Comfort & Cabin

The two-seat cabin is designed with the utmost precision, featuring a sophisticated air conditioning system engineered to combat the extreme GCC humidity and heat. The seats are crafted for both long-distance support and lateral grip, making them ideal for cross-emirate journeys. Carbon fiber accents and premium leather surfaces create an atmosphere of modern luxury that is both tactile and visually stunning. Sound insulation is remarkably effective with the roof closed, rivaling many high-end GT cars for quietness and refinement. The passenger display allows the co-driver to stay engaged with the car's performance metrics, a popular feature in the local car culture. Every control is within easy reach, and the digital instrument cluster provides all necessary information with high-definition clarity. The storage space is optimized for weekend bags, making it a viable companion for luxury getaways to resorts across the region.

Safety

Safety is managed by an array of highly advanced electronics designed to keep the car stable even on sandy or slippery road surfaces. The Side Slip Control (SSC) system has been updated to work with the electric motor, providing incredible traction when accelerating out of corners. Standard features include high-performance ABS, traction control, and multiple airbags hidden within the premium trim. For the fast-paced highway environment of the GCC, the car's lighting system provides exceptional visibility during night drives across unlit desert stretches. The parking sensors and cameras are essential for navigating the tight spaces of premium shopping mall parking lots. Unlike many older supercars, this modern hybrid architecture includes comprehensive safety cut-offs for the high-voltage system, ensuring peace of mind for the owner. It is a car that offers extreme performance without sacrificing the security and protection modern drivers expect.

The bottom line

For the discerning GCC collector or enthusiast, this 2024 hybrid convertible offers the perfect mix of extremely low mileage and high-tech performance. It is the ideal choice for someone who wants the latest automotive technology in a configuration that is perfectly suited for the regional climate.
