Summary

This 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor is a near-new performance powerhouse with mileage well below the GCC annual average for a two-year-old vehicle. Finished in a high-demand Blue that maintains strong resale appeal in the region, it bridges the gap between a daily commuter and a professional-grade desert runner. As the apex predator of the midsize truck segment, it offers capabilities typically reserved for full-sized trophy trucks while remaining agile enough for tight city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. With the balance of its manufacturer warranty likely intact, it represents a turn-key opportunity for enthusiasts who want flagship performance without the long showroom wait times.

This Car vs Other 2024 Ranger Raptors

With 41,243 km on the odometer, this Raptor has been driven approximately 20,000 km per year, which is lower than the typical 25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC used market. The Blue exterior is a popular and high-visibility choice among local enthusiasts, often commanding better attention and value retention than more common neutral tones.

RAPTOR vs Lower Trims

The Raptor trim is a total mechanical overhaul compared to the Wildtrak, adding the high-output 3.0L EcoBoost V6 and FOX Live Valve 2.5-inch racing shocks as standard. Inside, GCC buyers benefit from Raptor-exclusive sports seats with extra bolstering and a massive 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster that isn't available on lower variants.

Ranger vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Hilux GR-S and Jeep Gladiator Mojave, the Ranger Raptor offers a significant power advantage with its twin-turbocharged V6. Its sophisticated Watt's-link rear suspension provides a much more composed ride on high-speed UAE highways compared to the leaf-sprung Hilux or solid-axle Gladiator.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 14L/100km, which is standard for a high-performance petrol truck in GCC city-to-highway cycles. Ford's extensive service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait ensures parts are readily available, contributing to the Raptor's reputation for holding value significantly better than entry-level midsize pickups.

Performance & Capability

The Raptor produces an impressive 392 hp and 583 Nm of torque, allowing for effortless overtaking on desert highways. It features 272 mm of ground clearance and specialized Baja mode for high-speed sand driving, while its 2,500 kg braked towing capacity makes it a versatile tool for weekend jet-ski or camping trips.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is specifically designed for the GCC climate, featuring a powerful dual-zone air conditioning system and a 12-inch SYNC 4A touchscreen with wireless connectivity. Premium Bang & Olufsen audio and high-quality insulation ensure a refined experience even when traversing rough gravel or dunes in the peak of summer.

Safety

Standard safety tech includes a 360-degree camera system for tight parking and off-road spotting, alongside adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring essential for fast-moving multi-lane traffic. It also features advanced stability control and multiple airbags, providing a secure environment for both urban commutes and cross-border expeditions.

The bottom line

Perfect for the GCC-based enthusiast who needs a civilized daily driver that can dominate the dunes on weekends, this low-mileage Raptor offers incredible performance and long-term value.
