Summary

This 2024 Ford Territory Trend presents a compelling opportunity for GCC buyers seeking a modern, tech-focused SUV with a mileage profile that aligns perfectly with the regional average for commuters between emirates. Finished in white, the highest-retaining resale color in the Middle East, it offers a distinct advantage when it comes time to upgrade. The 2-liter EcoBoost engine provides a smooth balance of power for highway overtaking and fuel efficiency for city congestion in Dubai or Riyadh. Unlike traditional rivals, the Territory focuses on horizontal cabin space and digital integration, creating an environment that feels premium for its segment. For a family in the GCC, this listing is a standout choice due to its recent model year, regional-spec cooling, and robust authorized service network.

This Car vs Other 2024 Territorys

With just under 40,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits comfortably within the expected mileage range for a 2024 model in the GCC, where long-distance highway driving is standard. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the local used market, ensuring faster resale and better value retention compared to darker shades. Being a GCC-spec vehicle, it retains full compatibility with regional service centers and manufacturer warranty standards.

Trend vs Lower Trims

The Trend trim adds significant comfort features over the base Ambiente, most notably the dual-zone automatic climate control which is essential for managing the intense GCC summer heat. It also upgrades the interior with premium vinyl seating and adds a rearview camera as standard, providing a more refined daily driving experience. The inclusion of 18-inch alloy wheels and roof rails gives the Trend a more assertive road presence compared to the entry-level model.

Territory vs Segment Rivals

The Territory leads rivals like the Toyota Corolla Cross and Hyundai Tucson in terms of rear legroom, thanks to its generous 2,726 mm wheelbase that accommodates three adults comfortably. Its 12.3-inch touchscreen display is one of the largest in its class, offering a more modern tech interface than many Japanese competitors. Additionally, the 60-litre fuel tank provides a longer cruising range for cross-border trips compared to smaller-capacity tanks found in compact crossovers.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0L EcoBoost typically ranges between 8.0 and 10.5 L/100km depending on GCC stop-start traffic conditions. Maintenance is straightforward with service intervals every 10,000 km at authorized Ford centers like Al Tayer Motors or Premier Motors, which are widely available across the UAE. While it faces stiff competition from Japanese brands, the Territory's strong initial demand in the region has led to competitive value retention of approximately 45-50% after three years.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L EcoBoost engine is tuned for the region's flat highways, offering smooth torque delivery that makes cruising at 120 km/h effortless. With a ground clearance of approximately 190 mm, it easily handles the high curbs, speed humps, and gravel tracks commonly encountered near GCC beaches and parks. Selectable drive modes, including a dedicated Mountain mode, optimize the transmission for varied surfaces, ensuring stability even on loose sand patches during weekend outings.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the Middle Eastern climate, featuring a powerful air conditioning system with dedicated rear vents to ensure all passengers stay cool. Horizontal design lines and a flat rear floor maximize shoulder and legroom, making it one of the most spacious 5-seaters in its price bracket. Acoustic insulation is effective at filtering out wind noise during long desert highway drives, while the 448-litre boot easily handles large grocery runs or family luggage.

Safety

Standard safety features on this Trend trim include six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, and Hill Launch Assist, providing confidence on both highways and inclined parking ramps. It also features Ford's Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) and Tire Pressure Monitoring, which are particularly useful for the fast-paced, high-temperature driving conditions of the UAE. ISOFIX child seat anchors are standard on the rear outboard seats, making it a secure choice for young families.

The bottom line

This 2024 Ford Territory Trend is ideal for a young family or professional looking for a tech-rich SUV that handles the UAE's heat and highways with ease. Its white-on-beige configuration and GCC-spec status make it a low-risk, high-value opportunity in the current market.
