Summary

This 2024 Jetour Dashing Luxury presents a compelling opportunity for those seeking a tech-focused crossover with very low mileage for the GCC market. Its grey exterior is a highly sought-after shade in the UAE, ensuring strong resale interest compared to bolder colors. The Dashing stands out in the compact SUV segment with its avant-garde styling and a cabin that feels significantly more premium than its price point suggests. For GCC buyers, the key consideration is its balance of cutting-edge technology and everyday urban practicality. This specific listing, with just 25,000 km, offers nearly new vehicle benefits in a market where high-highway use is the norm.

This Car vs Other 2024 Jetour Dashings

With only 25,000 km on the odometer, this Dashing is well below the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km per year, representing effectively one year of standard use. The grey exterior is among the top three most resilient colors for resale in the local market, holding value better than niche tones. Choosing a low-mileage 2024 model allows you to capture the steepest part of the initial depreciation curve while still owning a mechanically fresh vehicle.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim is the definitive choice for the GCC climate, adding essential ventilated front seats that are absent in base models. It also upgrades the driving experience with a 360-degree panoramic camera system and a power tailgate, features that local buyers prioritize for mall parking and convenience. Furthermore, the Luxury trim provides expanded ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof, creating a much more sophisticated cabin atmosphere than the entry-level versions.

Dashing vs Segment Rivals

The Jetour Dashing competes directly with the Changan UNI-T and Haval Jolion, leading the pack with its unique 'stealth-fighter' exterior design and wider body proportions. It offers a more tech-centric interior interface than the Jolion, including a large tablet-style display that centralizes almost all vehicle functions. Its 2,720 mm wheelbase provides competitive rear legroom, making it a more viable family option than some of the more cramped rivals in the crossover category.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.5L turbo typically averages around 9.7 L/100km in mixed UAE driving, though steady highway cruises between Emirates can see this drop toward 8.0 L/100km. As a Chinese spec vehicle, it is important to note that while it offers high features for the price, it may not carry the same local agency warranty as a GCC-spec unit from Elite Group. Authorized service centers are well-established in major cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi, though parts for specific Chinese-market sensors may require sourcing through specialized importers.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5L turbocharged engine produces 200 hp, providing brisk acceleration that is more than adequate for merging onto fast-moving highways like Sheikh Zayed Road. The 6-speed dual-clutch transmission is tuned for smooth urban shifts, though engaging Sport mode noticeably sharpens throttle response for overtaking. While this model features four-wheel drive for added traction on gravel or rain-slicked tarmac, it is primarily a road-biased crossover intended for urban commuting rather than deep desert exploration.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a standout feature, utilizing high-quality synthetic leather and a minimalist design that mimics high-end EVs. The air conditioning system is robust enough to handle the 45°C+ GCC summers, complemented by front seat ventilation to keep occupants cool during long drives. The 486-litre boot is generous for the segment, easily accommodating a weekly family shop or luggage for a weekend staycation in Ras Al Khaimah.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this Luxury trim includes a full suite of six airbags and a 360-degree camera system for total visibility. The Dashing is equipped with essential ADAS features such as Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which are invaluable for navigating multi-lane highway traffic. Electronic Stability Control and Hill Descent Control ensure the vehicle remains composed even on the varied road surfaces found across the region.

The bottom line

This Jetour Dashing is the ideal choice for a style-conscious buyer looking for a modern, feature-packed SUV that looks and feels brand new without the showroom price tag.
