Summary

This 2024 Mazda CX-3 GT is a standout find in the GCC market, combining very low mileage with the highest available trim level. Its silver exterior is a top-tier choice for local resale, while the all-wheel-drive system provides superior grip on gravel-strewn roads and during rare rainy spells. Unlike many competitors in the subcompact segment, the CX-3 offers a premium, driver-focused interior that feels significantly more upscale. For a GCC buyer, this model provides the ideal balance of city-friendly dimensions and enough power for confident highway overtaking between emirates.

This Car vs Other 2024 CX-3s

With just 26,000 km on the odometer, this CX-3 has been driven significantly less than the typical 40,000–50,000 km expected for a two-year-old vehicle in the UAE. The silver paintwork is one of the most practical and sought-after colors for the desert climate, maintaining its appearance and holding value exceptionally well at trade-in. Choosing this GT trim ensures you have the full suite of factory technology that is often missing from more common base-model listings.

GT vs Lower Trims

The GT trim is a major step up from the entry-level models, replacing standard halogen lamps with signature LED headlights and upgrading the wheels to 18-inch machine-cut alloys. Inside, it swaps cloth for premium leather upholstery and adds essential GCC tech including a 360° camera system and a Head-Up Display. These features aren't just for comfort—they are highly valued in the local used market and make daily maneuvers in tight city parking much easier.

CX-3 vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Nissan Kicks and Honda HR-V offer more raw cargo volume, the Mazda leads the segment in driving dynamics and cabin material quality. Its 2.0-litre Skyactiv engine feels more responsive during highway merges than the smaller engines found in many subcompact crossovers. The inclusion of All Wheel Drive is also a rarity in this class, offering extra peace of mind when venturing onto unpaved tracks or navigating wet pavement.

Running Costs & Resale

The CX-3 is highly efficient, averaging approximately 6.5 L/100km on mixed routes, though stop-start city traffic in Dubai may see figures closer to 9.0 L/100km. Mazda’s authorized service network is extensive across the UAE and Oman, ensuring parts are always accessible and maintenance is straightforward. Historically, Japanese crossovers like the CX-3 retain their value better than European counterparts, typically depreciating at a manageable 10-12% annually in the GCC.

Performance & Capability

With a 0–100 km/h time of 8.3 seconds, the CX-3 is one of the peppier vehicles in its class, making it surprisingly fun to drive. The All Wheel Drive system works seamlessly with G-Vectoring Control to sharpen cornering, which you'll appreciate on the winding roads of Jebel Hafeet or Jebel Jais. While not a desert off-roader, its elevated ground clearance is perfect for handling speed bumps and the sandy edges of villa communities.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed around the 'Heads-up Cockpit' concept, placing the 7-inch infotainment screen and commander control exactly where they are easiest to reach. High-quality soft-touch materials and leather seating provide a level of refinement usually reserved for larger SUVs. The air conditioning is robust and specifically tuned for regional heat, ensuring the compact cabin cools down rapidly even after being parked in the afternoon sun.

Safety

Safety is a priority in the GT trim, which features the i-Activsense suite including Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert—both vital for safe lane changes on the E11 highway. The 360° view monitor provides a bird's-eye perspective for effortless parking, while multiple airbags and stability control come standard. These active systems work together to provide a safety net that is often an optional extra in rival subcompacts.

The bottom line

This is the perfect choice for a professional or small family seeking a 'like-new' premium crossover that is easy to park but punchy enough for the highway. It offers the best trim, the best resale color, and below-average mileage in one package.
