Summary

This 2024 Mercedes-AMG G63 represents the final production year of the non-hybrid V8, making it a highly desirable asset for purists in the GCC used market. With 23,500 km on the clock, its usage sits perfectly within the expected range for a 2-year-old vehicle in the region, where average annual driving is high due to inter-emirate highway commutes. The G63 remains the undisputed king of prestige SUVs in the Middle East, offering a unique blend of heritage design and supercar-rivaling performance that rivals like the Range Rover or Lamborghini Urus struggle to match in terms of cultural presence. For the local buyer, the combination of a handcrafted engine and genuine off-road hardware ensures this car is as capable on a weekend desert trip as it is refined on a drive down Sheikh Zayed Road. This listing is a standout opportunity to own the last of the pure-combustion G-Wagons with a mileage profile that suggests careful, consistent use.

This Car vs Other 2024 G63 AMGs

With a mileage of 23,500 km, this vehicle sits comfortably at the average for the GCC market, where 20,000 to 25,000 km per year is the standard for luxury SUVs. This indicates the car has been utilized for routine highway driving without excessive wear or underuse issues. The 'Other' exterior color, depending on the specific shade, often commands a premium in the UAE and Saudi markets if it falls within the popular matte or Manufaktur palettes, which are highly liquid in the secondary market.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the top-tier AMG model, this trim adds the hand-built 4.0L V8 biturbo engine, a massive upgrade over the standard G550's output. GCC-essential features included as standard on this trim are the Burmester 15-speaker surround sound system, 360-degree camera for urban maneuvering, and the AMG Ride Control adaptive suspension. Unlike lower specifications, the G63 also features the high-performance braking system and signature side-exit exhausts that define the model's presence in the region.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The G63 leads its primary rivals, the Range Rover Autobiography and the Lamborghini Urus, by offering three mechanical locking differentials and a ladder-frame chassis for authentic off-road durability. Its 100-litre extended range fuel tank is a significant advantage for long-distance desert crossings or cross-border travel within the GCC. While rivals may offer more aerodynamic efficiency, the G63's resale retention in the Middle East consistently outperforms the segment average by nearly 15% over a three-year window.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 14.7L/100km, which reflects the heavy curb weight and the demands of GCC stop-start city traffic. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km or 12 months, with an extensive authorized service network available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts are always readily accessible. The G63 holds roughly 65–75% of its value after three years in the GCC, making it one of the most financially stable high-end SUV purchases in the local market.

Performance & Capability

A verified 0-100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h allow for effortless overtaking on fast-moving GCC highways. The legendary three locking differentials provide unmatched traction for deep sand driving, while the AMG SPEEDSHIFT 9-speed transmission is tuned for rapid response. The 577 hp output ensures that despite its iconic boxy shape, the G63 maintains the pace of a sports car in all road conditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed to handle the extreme GCC summer, featuring three-zone climate control and high-performance insulation from exterior heat. Ventilated front seats and heated rear seats are standard, ensuring comfort for all five passengers during long road trips between emirates. The dual 12.3-inch widescreen displays provide clear visibility even in high-glare desert sunlight, while the Nappa leather finish offers the luxury expected of a flagship Mercedes.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive ADAS suite with Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, which is essential for long, straight desert highways. Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist provide vital protection in fast-moving multi-lane traffic common in major GCC cities. The vehicle is also equipped with a 360-degree surround-view camera system to assist in parking this large SUV in tight urban environments.

The bottom line

This is the ideal purchase for a GCC-based collector or executive looking for the final iteration of the non-hybrid V8 icon with a mileage profile that reflects a well-maintained, road-ready vehicle.
