Summary

This 2024 Nissan X-Terra SE is a high-utility choice for families seeking a dependable seven-seater without the premium of higher trims. Its white exterior is the most sought-after color in the GCC, significantly aiding resale value and reflecting heat during peak summer months. With its body-on-frame construction, this SUV bridges the gap between urban school runs and weekend trail duties across the Emirates. The 2.5-litre powertrain is specifically tuned for durability, offering a balanced alternative to more complex and expensive rivals. For a buyer in the current market, this GCC-spec listing represents a nearly new vehicle that avoids the heaviest initial depreciation hits.

This Car vs Other 2024 X Terras

With 41,015 km, this vehicle's mileage is slightly higher than the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, yet it remains well-suited for long-distance highway commutes. The white exterior is a major advantage for local resale, consistently fetching better prices than darker shades in the used market. Being a 2024 model, it retains the mechanical simplicity and warranty potential that local buyers prioritize.

SE vs Lower Trims

As a primary entry point in the X-Terra range, the SE trim focuses on essential utility including a 7-inch advanced driver assist display and standard cruise control for long desert drives. It upgrades the basic aesthetic with 17-inch alloy wheels and standard roof rails, providing the rugged look and practical storage capability that base-spec workhorse variants lack. Unlike lower-market competitors, it maintains full seven-seat capacity as standard.

X Terra vs Segment Rivals

The X-Terra leads rivals like the Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Montero Sport in terms of ride refinement and cabin noise insulation on asphalt. Its 78-litre fuel tank provides a longer touring range for cross-border trips between UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia compared to several smaller-tank crossovers. The interior layout offers more generous third-row accessibility, making it a more practical choice for daily family logistics than more off-road focused competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption averages approximately 11.4 km/L, which is competitive for a seven-seat SUV in GCC stop-start traffic and long highway cruising. Nissan’s authorized service network is one of the most extensive in the region, ensuring parts and expert maintenance are available in every major city from Dubai to Riyadh. Historically, the X-Terra retains about 70-73% of its value after three years, outperforming many European rivals in the same segment.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine produces 165 hp and 241 Nm of torque, delivered through a smooth 7-speed automatic transmission that excels at highway overtaking. While this Rear Wheel Drive SE trim is road-biased, its 243 mm ground clearance allows it to navigate gravel tracks and desert campsites with ease. It offers a stable, planted feel on the E11 and E311 highways, even when fully loaded with seven passengers and luggage.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the harsh GCC climate, featuring a powerful air conditioning system with dedicated rear vents to ensure all three rows stay cool during July heat. The SE trim provides durable fabric seating and a quiet interior environment shielded by acoustic glass technology. Practicality is a priority, with a flexible seating layout that allows the second and third rows to fold, accommodating large grocery hauls or camping gear.

Safety

This X-Terra SE comes equipped with essential safety systems for regional driving, including dual front airbags and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) critical for high-temperature highway safety. Standard driver aids like Cruise Control and Hill Start Assist provide peace of mind during long trips and inclined parking, while the reinforced body-on-frame structure offers superior passive protection compared to monocoque crossovers.

The bottom line

For the GCC family buyer, this 2024 X-Terra is a smart, durable, and resale-friendly choice that handles the region's heat and long distances with ease.
