Summary

This 2024 Nissan X-Trail SL represents a premium opportunity for families seeking a nearly-new SUV with the highest equipment level available. With just over 20,000 km, its mileage is significantly lower than the GCC annual average, making it a mechanically fresh choice for long-term ownership. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the region, ensuring maximum heat reflection during summer and superior resale liquidity later on. As the top-tier SL trim, it bridges the gap between a practical daily commuter and a luxury family hauler with high-end tech standard. For a UAE buyer, this specific listing offers the security of a modern GCC-spec vehicle with its most expensive depreciation hit already behind it.

This Car vs Other 2024 X-Trails

At 20,232 km, this X-Trail has been driven less than the typical 25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC market. While many used units are base-spec rental or fleet vehicles, this is the range-topping SL trim, which holds a distinct value advantage. The white paint is a strategic choice for the local market, consistently ranking as the strongest resale color across the Emirates.

SL vs Lower Trims

The SL trim significantly upgrades the cabin experience over the SV and S trims with premium leather upholstery and a 12.3-inch digital cockpit. It adds essential GCC comforts like a motion-activated power tailgate and a panoramic sunroof that transforms the interior feel. Unlike the lower trims, the SL comes standard with the full 360-degree Intelligent Around View Monitor and 19-inch alloy wheels.

X-Trail vs Segment Rivals

The X-Trail leads rivals like the Toyota RAV4 by offering a dedicated third row for seven passengers, a rarity in this compact SUV footprint. Its 2.5L engine is specifically tuned for durability in high-heat environments compared to some European turbocharged competitors. Additionally, the X-Trail’s Theatre Seating layout ensures rear passengers have better visibility, a major plus for family road trips.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy for the 2.5L petrol engine averages approximately 7.8L/100km, performing efficiently on long highway stretches between cities. Nissan maintains one of the most extensive authorized service networks in the GCC, with centers readily available from Dubai to Muscat. The X-Trail enjoys a strong resale profile, typically retaining about 80-85% of its value after the first year in the UAE market, outperforming several American and Chinese segment rivals.

Performance & Capability

The 181 hp engine provides reliable power for highway overtaking and city merging, paired with a smooth CVT gearbox designed for fuel efficiency. With 210 mm of ground clearance, it handles gravel tracks and light desert wadi drives with ease, though its primary strength is on-road refinement. Drive modes allow the pilot to optimize throttle response for different conditions, ensuring comfort during the UAE's variable winter and summer road textures.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat layout features Nissan’s EZ Flex system, allowing the second row to slide and recline for maximum passenger comfort. The tri-zone climate control is powerful enough to handle 45°C+ summer peaks, ensuring the third row receives adequate airflow. The cabin is exceptionally quiet for its class, benefiting from acoustic glass that insulates passengers from external road noise during long commutes.

Safety

The 2024 X-Trail SL is equipped with Nissan Intelligent Mobility, featuring standard Blind Spot Intervention and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which are vital for multi-lane highway safety. The 360° camera system makes parking in tight urban spaces effortless, while the Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection provides an extra layer of security in city traffic. It also includes 8 airbags as standard, offering comprehensive protection for all three rows of passengers.

The bottom line

This SL-trim X-Trail is the perfect match for a family that needs seven seats and top-tier tech without the price tag of a brand-new showroom unit. Its low mileage and GCC-preferred color make it one of the most sensible and liquid assets currently available in the used SUV market.
