Summary

This GCC-spec Black Badge represents the most powerful and exclusive iteration of the Cullinan lineup, featuring a darker, more aggressive aesthetic that is highly coveted in the local pre-owned market. At two years old with just over 20,000 km, this vehicle has covered average mileage for a GCC luxury SUV, meaning it has been appropriately driven rather than stored, ensuring mechanical health. The Black Badge trim is a top-tier choice for UAE and Saudi buyers, as the gloss-black exterior accents and technical carbon fibre interior provide a modern edge that holds a resale premium over standard models. In the GCC, the Cullinan stands alone for its peerless road presence and the legendary Magic Carpet Ride suspension, which is specifically tuned to handle both high-speed motorway stability and soft-sand terrain. For a buyer in 2026, this listing offers the opportunity to secure the definitive luxury SUV with its most desirable trim package while the remaining factory support typically provides peace of mind.

This Car vs Other 2024 Cullinans

With 20,829 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits exactly in the expected mileage band for a two-year-old high-end SUV in the GCC, where annual averages range between 20,000 and 25,000 km. The black exterior is a primary resale color in the regional market, ensuring it attracts the widest pool of buyers and maintains a stronger value floor compared to more niche bespoke palettes. As a Series I model produced in 2024, it benefits from the peak of that generation's refinement before the Series II update, making it a reliable choice for long-term ownership.

BLACK BADGE vs Lower Trims

The Black Badge trim is the high-performance alter ego of the standard Cullinan, adding an extra 29 hp and 50 Nm of torque for a total of 600 hp and 900 Nm. Beyond the power increase, it features a bespoke suspension setup with stiffer air springs and a reworked throttle map for more immediate response on Sheikh Zayed Road. Visually, it replaces traditional bright chrome with high-gloss black on the Pantheon grille and Spirit of Ecstasy, while the interior is distinguished by 'Technical Carbon' veneer, a finish that GCC buyers value for its contemporary luxury feel.

Cullinan vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus offer more car-like agility, the Cullinan leads the segment in absolute cabin isolation and effortless V12 torque. Its proprietary all-aluminum Architecture of Luxury platform is unique in this class, whereas competitors often share chassis components with more mainstream premium SUVs. Furthermore, the Cullinan provides a dedicated off-road mode that adjusts the air suspension for 540 mm of wading depth, offering genuine capability for desert weekend trips that sportier rivals cannot match.

Running Costs & Resale

The 6.75-liter V12 typically returns a combined fuel consumption of approximately 16 L/100km, which is manageable for the segment given the large 100-litre fuel tank designed for long-distance travel between GCC cities. Service intervals are generally set at 12 months or 15,000 km, with a robust authorized service network including AGMC and Abu Dhabi Motors in the UAE, and Naghi Motors in Saudi Arabia. In the local market, the Black Badge retains approximately 60-65% of its value at the three-year mark, outperforming most European luxury SUV rivals in terms of percentage retention.

Performance & Capability

Despite its 2.7-tonne curb weight, the Black Badge reaches 100 km/h in a verified 4.9 seconds, providing the authoritative overtaking power required for fast-moving GCC highway traffic. The intelligent all-wheel-drive system and self-leveling air suspension work in tandem to maintain a perfectly flat ride, even when navigating uneven gravel or soft sand tracks. The 8-speed automatic transmission utilizes satellite-aided technology to pre-select gears based on the road ahead, ensuring that power delivery is always seamless and never disruptive to the cabin experience.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a 5-seat sanctuary featuring quad-zone climate control and heavily insulated acoustic glass, essential for maintaining a cool, silent environment during the peak GCC summer. Both front and rear seats are ventilated and offer multiple massage programs, ensuring fatigue-free travel on long drives across the Emirates or to neighboring Oman. This specific configuration includes the signature Starlight Headliner and high-definition rear entertainment screens, providing a private-jet experience for all passengers.

Safety

This Black Badge comes standard with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Night Vision with pedestrian and animal detection, which is particularly valuable for driving on unlit desert highways after dark. A high-resolution 360-degree camera system and active parking sensors manage the vehicle's footprint in tight urban environments. Additional safety features include lane-departure warnings, blind-spot monitoring for high-speed motorway safety, and a sophisticated head-up display that keeps critical information within the driver's line of sight.

The bottom line

This 2024 Black Badge is the ideal choice for the executive buyer who demands the highest level of road presence and power, offering a showroom-ready GCC-spec vehicle with a market-preferred color and mileage profile.
