Rolls Royce Spectre STANDARD

• 0–100 km/h in 4.5 seconds
• 195 kW peak DC charging standard

Summary

This 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre represents the quietest and most refined chapter in the marque's history, offering a near-silent driving experience that perfectly suits the luxury landscape of the GCC. With just 12,500 km on the odometer, this two-year-old example has been driven sparingly compared to the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for high-end vehicles in the region. The grey exterior is a neutral, high-demand choice for the UAE and Saudi markets, ensuring excellent resale appeal and thermal efficiency under the sun. While this is a European-spec model, the Spectre’s advanced thermal management and 102 kWh battery are purpose-built for consistent performance even in high-temperature environments. For the discerning buyer, this listing offers a significant lead-time advantage over ordering a new commission while maintaining the prestige of the latest generation.

This Car vs Other 2024 Spectres

At 12,500 km, this vehicle’s mileage is significantly below the average for a two-year-old luxury car in the GCC, where long highway commutes often inflate totals quickly. This makes it an attractive alternative to higher-mileage regional examples, offering a 'like-new' mechanical state. The grey finish is a practical and sophisticated choice, holding its value better than more niche bespoke colors in the secondary market.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The Spectre is currently offered in a singular, highly specified Standard trim that establishes a benchmark for electric luxury. Unlike lower-tier luxury EVs, this car includes the Planar Suspension System and the iconic Starlight Headliner as part of its core identity. This specific European-spec example includes 22-inch wheels and the 18-speaker Bespoke audio system, features that are highly prized by buyers across the UAE and Qatar.

Spectre vs Segment Rivals

The Spectre occupies a unique space, far exceeding the interior craftsmanship and 'waftability' of rivals like the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore or the Cadillac Celestiq. Its 102 kWh usable battery capacity provides a more stable long-distance range for cross-emirate travel compared to smaller-battery performance EVs. While rivals focus on aggressive acceleration, the Rolls-Royce leads with unparalleled cabin silence and a massive 900 Nm of torque for effortless highway overtaking.

Running Costs & Resale

Electric propulsion significantly simplifies ownership in the GCC, removing the need for the complex V12 engine servicing and fluid changes required by a Phantom or Ghost. Electricity costs in the UAE remain a fraction of premium fuel prices, and the authorized service network in cities like Dubai, Riyadh, and Abu Dhabi is fully equipped for Spectre maintenance. As the first-ever electric Rolls-Royce, the Spectre is showing exceptional value retention, often trading near its original MSRP due to limited production slots.

Performance & Capability

With a 0–100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed limited to 250 km/h, the Spectre delivers its power with an imperious surge rather than a jarring kick. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive system provides 584 hp and 900 Nm of torque, ensuring total composure during fast-moving highway merges. Its DC fast-charging capability allows for a 10% to 80% charge in approximately 34 minutes at a 195 kW station, making it highly compatible with the expanding fast-charge infrastructure across the region.

Comfort & Cabin

The 4-seat cabin is an isolated sanctuary, featuring double-glazed windows and nearly 700 kg of soundproofing to keep the 45°C summer heat and road noise at bay. Standard equipment includes the four-zone climate control system, known for its ability to rapidly cool the cabin, and the 'Eleanor' digital assistant for seamless navigation. This example features the Bespoke interior with the Starlight headliner, a signature element that makes evening drives between Dubai and Abu Dhabi feel truly special.

Safety

The Spectre features a comprehensive ADAS suite including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind Spot Monitoring, all of which are essential for navigating the multi-lane highways of the GCC. It also utilizes a sophisticated 360-degree camera system and Night Vision technology to assist with low-light desert driving and tight urban parking. The car is equipped with a full array of airbags and structural reinforcements specifically designed to protect the large floor-mounted battery pack.

The bottom line

This Spectre is the perfect acquisition for an executive looking to lead the transition to electric luxury without sacrificing the heritage and prestige of a Rolls-Royce. Its low mileage and sophisticated color palette make it one of the most compelling luxury EV opportunities in the GCC market today.
