Summary

This 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser VXR delivers an unmatched combination of long-range diesel efficiency and flagship luxury, making it one of the most capable and prestigious SUVs in the GCC. Powered by the high-torque 3.3L twin-turbo diesel engine, it offers significant fuel range advantages over petrol variants for long cross-border journeys. The white exterior is the highest-demand choice in the regional market, ensuring this listing serves as a solid asset with exceptional resale strength. As the top-tier VXR trim, it features the most advanced off-road hardware and cabin refinement available in the 300-series range. For a buyer seeking the ultimate all-terrain family vehicle that handles extreme summer heat with ease, this is the definitive local choice.

This Car vs Other 2024 Land Cruisers

With near-zero mileage, this 2024 model offers a brand-new ownership experience while avoiding the initial depreciation of a showroom purchase. The white exterior color is a significant buying advantage in the GCC, consistently commanding the highest residual values and shortest time-to-sell in the used market. Compared to the more common petrol models, this diesel variant is a rare find that prioritizes torque and long-distance fuel economy.

VXR vs Lower Trims

The VXR trim stands as the luxury flagship, adding a 14-speaker JBL premium audio system and four-zone climate control that are not found on GXR or EXR models. It also upgrades the cabin with ventilated seats for both front and second-row passengers, a critical feature for summer comfort in the Gulf. Off-road, the VXR adds more sophisticated technology like the Multi-Terrain Monitor with a 360-degree camera suite to navigate tight trails and dunes.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

The Land Cruiser leads the Nissan Patrol in pure resale value and parts availability across every corner of the GCC, from major cities to remote desert areas. Its 3.3L diesel powertrain offers a 700 Nm torque peak that outclasses many V8 petrol rivals for towing and sand recovery. Furthermore, the Land Cruiser's dedicated body-on-frame construction provides a level of long-term durability that road-biased crossovers in this price bracket cannot match.

Running Costs & Resale

This diesel variant offers a combined fuel consumption of approximately 8.9 L/100km, providing a massive range advantage during long-distance drives across the Emirates or into Saudi Arabia. Toyota's authorized service network is the most comprehensive in the region, ensuring that maintenance and genuine parts are easily accessible in any GCC country. Historically, the Land Cruiser retains its value better than any other vehicle in its segment, with VXR trims seeing the lowest annual depreciation rates.

Performance & Capability

The 3.3L twin-turbo V6 diesel produces a staggering 700 Nm of torque, enabling smooth highway overtaking and immense pulling power in deep sand. It features a genuine low-range transfer case and 235 mm of ground clearance, allowing it to clear terrain that would stop most family SUVs. The 10-speed automatic transmission is specifically tuned to keep the engine in its power band, ensuring a refined and quiet ride even under heavy load.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat layout is designed for maximum family utility, featuring a power-folding third row that stows flat to create a massive cargo area. The cabin is an executive sanctuary with premium leather upholstery and an advanced 12.3-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay integration. High-output air conditioning with dedicated rear vents ensures the entire cabin stays cool even when ambient temperatures exceed 45 degrees.

Safety

Standard on the VXR trim is the full Toyota Safety Sense suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Trace Assist, which are essential for reducing fatigue on long desert highways. The vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive 360-degree camera system to eliminate blind spots, along with ten airbags and stability control systems optimized for both sand and gravel surfaces. This trim offers the highest level of active safety protection available in the Land Cruiser lineup.

The bottom line

This 2024 VXR Diesel is the perfect opportunity for a GCC buyer who needs maximum off-road capability and range without sacrificing flagship luxury. It combines the region's best resale color with the most durable powertrain, making it a smart long-term investment.
