Summary

This Toyota Raize is a standout choice for the urban GCC driver, offering an exceptionally low mileage of just 10,880 km on a two-year-old vehicle. Finished in high-resale White, this Turbo G trim provides the ideal balance of turbocharged pep for highway merging and class-leading efficiency for city traffic. As a GCC-spec model, it is fully optimized for the region’s extreme heat and comes with the peace of mind of Toyota's massive regional service network. For a young professional or small family, this crossover represents one of the most sensible and high-retention value investments currently available in the used market.

This Car vs Other 2024 Raizes

With only 10,880 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered significantly less distance than the average GCC annual usage of 20,000–25,000 km. While a typical two-year-old crossover in this region might show 40,000 km or more, this unit presents as a near-new alternative. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the local market, as it reflects heat more effectively and consistently holds the strongest resale value across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

TURBO G RA vs Lower Trims

The Turbo G trim is a major step up from the base 1.2L E variant, replacing the naturally aspirated engine with a more capable 1.0L turbocharged unit that delivers 140 Nm of torque. It adds premium features essential for GCC comfort, including 17-inch alloy wheels, LED sequential turn signals, and a 7-inch digital cockpit display. You also benefit from an upgraded 6-speaker audio system and a leather-trimmed steering wheel, elevating the daily commute beyond the basic utility of lower trims.

Raize vs Segment Rivals

The Raize leads rivals like the Nissan Kicks and Kia Sonet when it comes to pure maneuverability, boasting a tight 5.1-meter turning radius that is perfect for navigating crowded Dubai or Riyadh parking structures. While competitors often prioritize larger footprints, the Toyota’s clever DNGA platform maximizes interior vertical space, providing generous headroom for all five passengers. Its 200 mm ground clearance also outperforms many sub-compact rivals, making it more capable of handling high speed bumps and gravel transitions.

Running Costs & Resale

Running costs are among the lowest in the segment, with an official combined fuel economy of 20.6 km/L ensuring long distances between fill-ups on a 36-liter tank. Toyota’s authorized service centers are available in every major GCC city, with standard 5,000 km minor and 10,000 km major service intervals that are very affordable. Historically, the Raize maintains approximately 80–85% of its value after three years in the GCC, significantly outperforming European sub-compact crossovers in long-term equity.

Performance & Capability

The 1.0-liter turbocharged engine is specifically tuned to deliver its maximum 140 Nm of torque at low RPMs (2400-4000), which is vital for quick acceleration in stop-start city traffic. On the highway, the D-CVT transmission provides a smooth experience, allowing for comfortable cruising at 120 km/h between emirates. With 200 mm of ground clearance, it confidently handles light off-road paths to weekend campsites without the bulk or fuel penalty of a full-sized 4x4.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Raize features a surprisingly spacious 5-seat layout with high-quality fabric upholstery designed to stay cool in the summer heat. The air conditioning system is built to GCC standards, ensuring rapid cabin cooling even when outside temperatures exceed 45°C. Practicality is a core strength, featuring a 369-liter boot with a removable deck board and a 60:40 split-folding rear seat for larger shopping trips or gear.

Safety

This Turbo G trim comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) for added confidence on inclines. Standard rear parking sensors and a high-definition rearview camera make parking effortless, while the dual front airbag system and ISOFIX anchor points provide essential protection for families. These active systems are particularly effective on high-speed GCC highways where stability at speed is paramount.

The bottom line

Perfect for the budget-conscious urbanite who refuses to compromise on Toyota reliability, this low-mileage 2024 Raize is a turn-key solution with excellent resale prospects.
