Summary

This 2026 Toyota Raize Turbo G is a standout choice for urban drivers seeking Toyota reliability with modern performance. As a brand-new model with effectively zero mileage, it offers a distinct advantage over the higher-mileage used crossovers typically found in the GCC market. The White exterior is widely considered the strongest resale color in the region, reflecting heat effectively while maintaining long-term value. With its punchy 1.0L turbocharged engine and agile dimensions, it handles the fast-paced traffic of Dubai and Riyadh with ease. For the GCC buyer, the combination of a high driving position and an industry-leading authorized service network makes this a stress-free entry into SUV ownership.

This Car vs Other 2026 Raizes

As a brand-new 2026 model, this vehicle carries no previous ownership wear, placing it at the top of the local used market for condition. While typical GCC crossovers of this age might already show highway-driven mileage, this unit offers a fresh start. The classic white finish further enhances its appeal, as it remains the most sought-after color for resale in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

TURBO G RA vs Lower Trims

The Turbo G RA trim is a significant step up from the base 1.2L E variant, most notably replacing the naturally aspirated engine with a much more responsive 1.0L turbocharged unit. This trim adds premium touches such as 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps with sequential turn signals, and a 7-inch digital driver display. It also features a leather-trimmed steering wheel and upgraded cabin materials that better suit the executive-commuter profile.

Raize vs Segment Rivals

The Raize leads rivals like the Suzuki Fronx and Kia Sonet in cargo versatility, offering a class-leading 369-litre boot with a clever multi-level deck board. Its 200 mm ground clearance is superior to many urban crossovers, providing better protection against high speed bumps and uneven sand-swept roads common in the region. Furthermore, the Raize benefits from the most extensive authorized service network across the GCC, a critical factor for cross-border travel.

Running Costs & Resale

The 1.0L Turbo engine delivers an impressive 17.0 km/L, making it one of the most efficient petrol-only SUVs for GCC city traffic. Toyota's reputation for durability ensures this model experiences some of the lowest depreciation rates in its segment, typically retaining over 70% of its value after three years. Authorized service centers are available in every major GCC city, ensuring parts are always accessible and maintenance is straightforward.

Performance & Capability

The 97 hp turbocharged engine is specifically tuned for low-end torque, providing the necessary zip for merging onto fast-moving multi-lane highways. Despite its compact three-cylinder design, the turbocharger ensures it doesn't feel underpowered during highway overtaking or when fully loaded with passengers. The 200 mm ground clearance and 4.9m turning circle make it exceptionally capable in tight urban parking and over varied terrain.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is surprisingly spacious for its compact footprint, featuring a high seating position that improves visibility in heavy traffic. While the air conditioning system is engineered to handle the extreme 45°C+ GCC summers, the Turbo G trim further improves the experience with a 7-inch digital cockpit and full smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 60:40 split-folding rear seats allow for flexible cargo configurations for weekend road trips.

Safety

Standard safety features on this Turbo G trim include dual front airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC). For highway safety, it comes equipped with rear parking sensors and a rearview camera, which are essential for navigating busy metropolitan areas. The body structure is designed with high-tensile strength steel to provide robust protection while remaining lightweight for efficiency.

The bottom line

This 2026 Raize is the ideal opportunity for a first-time SUV buyer or a small family looking for a zero-mileage, high-spec Toyota that will hold its value for years. Its combination of turbocharged efficiency and GCC-ready cooling makes it a sensible, high-quality choice for the local market.
