Summary

This 2025 Exeed LX is a compelling choice for GCC buyers seeking a high-tech crossover with a balance of efficiency and premium features. With its mileage at 69,000 km, it sits slightly above average for a one-year-old car in the region, but this is well-supported by the brand's extensive warranty and regional spare parts hub. The Teal exterior offers a unique, modern aesthetic that stands out in city traffic while maintaining good resale potential as the brand gains traction in the UAE. As a GCC spec model, it is purpose-built to handle the intense summer heat with a cooling system and air purification as standard. This is an ideal urban commuter for those who want a luxury-tier cabin experience at a more accessible price point.

This Car vs Other 2025 LXs

While 69,000 km is higher than the typical 25,000 km annual average for a one-year-old vehicle in the UAE, it indicates consistent highway use, which is often easier on the powertrain than stop-start city driving. This specific unit features the 1.5L turbo engine, which is the preferred choice for those prioritizing fuel economy over the larger 1.6L variant. The Teal paintwork is a signature color for Exeed, offering a modern look that helps it maintain its value better than more common generic shades.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim in the premium Exeed lineup, the Comfort grade still delivers features usually reserved for top-spec models in this segment, such as the curved 24.6-inch dual-screen interface and a panoramic sunroof. It includes essential GCC features like rear cooling vents and a glovebox cooling function to keep beverages chilled during summer. Unlike basic competitors, this trim maintains a high-quality leather interior and a 360-degree camera for effortless parking in tight urban spaces.

LX vs Segment Rivals

The LX leads rivals like the MG RX5 and Changan CS35 Plus with its superior interior technology, specifically the massive dual-screen cockpit that provides a far more immersive experience. Its 400-litre boot space offers better practical utility for small families compared to many compact crossovers in the sub-4.6m segment. For the long-distance GCC driver, the LX's fuel efficiency of 6.9 L/100km gives it a distinct advantage in monthly running costs over older engine designs in the class.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 6.9 L/100km, though this may reach 8.8 L/100km in heavy Dubai or Riyadh peak-hour traffic. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km or 6 months, and Al Ghurair Motors supports the brand with a massive 12,000 sqm regional parts hub, ensuring high parts availability across the UAE. As a newer premium Chinese brand, depreciation is slightly higher than Japanese stalwarts, but the 7-year/200,000 km warranty provides a significant safety net for used buyers.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5-litre turbocharged engine delivers a smooth 144 hp, specifically tuned for urban agility and fuel efficiency rather than high-speed desert exploration. A ground clearance of approximately 200 mm allows it to navigate speed bumps and gravel tracks with ease, making it a reliable partner for weekend trips to the outskirts. The CVT transmission is programmed to simulate 9 gears, providing a quiet and refined experience during highway cruises between Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The 5-seat cabin is defined by its ultra-modern digital layout and high-quality soft-touch materials that insulate occupants from road noise and desert heat. The dual-zone automatic climate control is robust, supported by dedicated rear vents to ensure all passengers remain comfortable during July and August peaks. Smart connectivity is standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the panoramic sunroof adds an airy feel to the cabin during cooler evening drives.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the Comfort trim is extensive, featuring a 360-degree camera system and front and rear parking sensors to aid visibility. The LX is built with a high-strength steel cage and includes 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, and electronic stability control. Advanced systems like Active Understeer Control and hill assist are particularly beneficial for maintaining composure on the varied surfaces found across the GCC region.

The bottom line

This 2025 Exeed LX is perfect for a tech-focused professional looking for a stylish, fuel-efficient daily driver that punches above its weight in interior luxury.
