Summary

This 2025 Mustang Dark Horse Premium represents a rare opportunity to own the most powerful naturally aspirated Coyote V8 ever produced, featuring incredibly low mileage for the GCC market. Its striking Blue finish is a highly desirable choice in the region, offering strong visibility and excellent resale appeal compared to more common shades. As the range-topping performance model, it bridges the gap between a daily driver and a dedicated track machine, making it a standout choice for enthusiasts in Dubai or Riyadh. For a GCC buyer, the combination of immediate availability and factory-fresh mechanicals avoids the long wait times typically associated with ordering this specific trim level.

This Car vs Other 2025 Mustangs

With just 8,181 km, this vehicle is well below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 km, essentially offering a new-car experience. While standard GT models are common on UAE roads, the Dark Horse is produced in significantly lower volumes, ensuring better long-term exclusivity. The Blue exterior is a vibrant, premium choice that holds its value well in a market where unique factory colors are increasingly prized by collectors.

DARK HORSE PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Dark Horse Premium adds critical performance hardware over the GT, including MagneRide adaptive dampers and a Torsen limited-slip differential as standard. Inside, it upgrades the experience with ventilated seats—a must-have for the GCC summer—alongside a premium 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system and a dedicated head-up display. It also features enhanced engine and transmission cooling, specifically designed to handle the thermal loads of high-speed highway driving in extreme temperatures.

Mustang vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW M4 or Lexus RC F, the Mustang Dark Horse offers a more raw, naturally aspirated V8 character that is becoming rare in this segment. It leads rivals with its track-focused cooling systems and a larger fuel tank, which is a major advantage for long-distance cruising between emirates. The digital cockpit, powered by Unreal Engine, provides a level of customisation and visual fidelity that outclasses the more traditional interfaces found in its Japanese competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the automatic Dark Horse averages approximately 13.8 L/100km, which is competitive for a 500 hp V8 in GCC stop-start city traffic. Ford’s extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait ensures that maintenance is straightforward and parts are readily available. As a GCC-spec performance flagship, this model typically experiences slower depreciation than base trims, retaining a significant percentage of its value due to its 'last-of-a-kind' naturally aspirated engine status.

Performance & Capability

The 500 hp V8 delivers a blistering 0–100 km/h sprint of just 3.7 seconds when paired with the 10-speed automatic transmission. This power is managed by Brembo six-piston front brakes and a broad track that provides exceptional stability during high-speed highway overtaking. Selectable drive modes—including Sport, Track, and Drag—allow you to recalibrate the MagneRide suspension and active exhaust to suit everything from a quiet morning commute to a spirited run at the Dubai Autodrome.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is tailored for the GCC climate, featuring highly effective ventilated front seats and a powerful dual-zone climate control system that quickly cools the interior after being parked in the sun. The 4-seat layout includes a magnesium-framed curved glass display that houses both the digital cluster and the SYNC 4 infotainment system. Exceptional cabin insulation and a premium B&O audio system ensure a refined environment even during long desert highway hauls.

Safety

Standard Ford Co-Pilot360™ technology provides a comprehensive safety suite, including Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert, which is vital for multi-lane highway driving. Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist make long-distance travel across the GCC significantly less fatiguing. The car also features Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and a high-resolution 360-degree camera system for easy maneuvering in tight urban parking spaces.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for a GCC enthusiast seeking the ultimate expression of Ford performance without the wait, combining a track-ready specification with the daily comfort required for the region.
