Summary

This 2025 Ford Taurus Trend represents an exceptional opportunity to own a near-new full-size sedan with just 2,190 km on the clock, placing it far below typical GCC mileage for its age. As the mid-range Trend trim, it balances premium tech like the massive 13.2-inch touchscreen with the proven 240 hp EcoBoost engine, offering a more engaging drive than its naturally aspirated rivals. The striking Red exterior is a bold choice in a market of white and silver, appealing to those who want presence without sacrificing the Taurus's renowned highway refinement. For the GCC buyer, this model stands out for its superior cabin cooling and high-speed stability, making it one of the most capable long-distance cruisers in its segment. With its first service interval still pending, this is effectively a showroom-fresh vehicle available without the new-car wait times.

This Car vs Other 2025 Ford Tauruses

With only 2,190 km, this vehicle is in the lowest percentile of mileage for 2025 models currently available in the GCC, where 20,000 km is the annual norm. While Red is a rarer choice than the typical white or silver, it maintains a strong niche following in the UAE and Saudi markets for the 'New Shape' Taurus. This low usage ensures that factory wear-and-tear is non-existent, offering a genuine 'like-new' ownership experience.

TREND vs Lower Trims

Moving up from the base Ambiente to this Trend trim introduces essential GCC upgrades, most notably the dual-panel sunroof and a more advanced rearview camera system. Inside, the Trend replaces standard fabric with a more durable vinyl-mix upholstery and adds dual-zone climate control, which is critical for maintaining cabin comfort during peak Gulf summers. It also features the upgraded digital cockpit and larger infotainment interface standard.

Taurus vs Segment Rivals

The Taurus leads segment rivals like the Toyota Camry and Nissan Altima by offering a more powerful 2.0L turbocharged engine as standard, delivering 240 hp for effortless highway overtaking. Its 66-litre fuel tank provides a substantial cruising range for long-distance trips between cities like Dubai and Riyadh. Furthermore, the Taurus offers a wider, more European-influenced chassis that provides superior high-speed stability compared to its Japanese competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0L EcoBoost engine is optimized for the region, achieving a respectable 15.5 km/L on the highway, though city driving in stop-start GCC traffic will average closer to 9-10 L/100km. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, and Ford’s extensive authorized network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait ensures parts are readily available. The Taurus enjoys strong value retention in the GCC, typically depreciating at a rate comparable to its Japanese rivals due to its massive popularity as an executive transport.

Performance & Capability

The 240 hp EcoBoost engine delivers a 0–100 km/h time of 8.1 seconds, which is brisk for a sedan of this size and ensures confident performance on fast-moving UAE highways. An 8-speed automatic transmission provides smooth shifts, while selectable drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport) allow the driver to prioritize efficiency or responsiveness. The front-wheel-drive layout is tuned for comfort and predictable handling, making it an ideal daily commuter for the region's well-maintained road networks.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a massive 13.2-inch touchscreen featuring the SYNC 4 system, providing seamless wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. For the GCC climate, the dual-zone automatic air conditioning is exceptionally powerful, supplemented by rear cooling vents to ensure all five passengers remain comfortable. Acoustic glass and high-quality insulation keep the interior remarkably quiet, even at highway speeds of 140 km/h.

Safety

Standard safety on the Trend trim includes a comprehensive ADAS suite featuring Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, and Blind Spot Monitoring, all of which are invaluable for high-speed highway commuting. This model is equipped with 6 airbags and a 360-degree camera system that makes parking this large sedan effortless. Additionally, the individual Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) provides peace of mind during long drives in extreme desert heat.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to secure a 2025 Taurus Trend with delivery-only mileage, offering the perfect blend of modern tech and turbocharged power for the savvy GCC professional. It’s the ideal choice for someone seeking a new-car feel and full manufacturer-backed reliability without the showroom price tag.
