Summary

This 2025 Ford Taurus in Trend trim offers a compelling combination of modern tech and exceptionally low mileage, having covered fewer than 2,000 km. As a GCC-spec sedan, it is perfectly adapted for regional highway cruising with a refined 2.0L EcoBoost engine that balances power with efficiency. The vibrant red exterior provides a bold alternative to the standard palette, while the interior features the updated 13.2-inch infotainment suite standard for this model year. For a buyer in the UAE or wider GCC, this listing represents a near-new vehicle opportunity with the peace of mind that comes from a full agency-supported specification. It stands out in the executive sedan segment for its spacious cabin and smooth 8-speed automatic transmission.

This Car vs Other 2025 Ford Tauruses

With only 1,940 km on the odometer, this Taurus is essentially in showroom condition, far below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC market. The red exterior is a distinctive choice that stands out in a market dominated by white and silver, offering better visibility and a unique presence. Choosing this specific car allows a buyer to skip the initial steep depreciation of a brand-new vehicle while retaining a virtually unused mechanical profile.

Trend vs Lower Trims

The Trend trim introduces essential upgrades for the GCC climate, most notably the dual-zone automatic climate control which allows the driver and front passenger to manage cooling independently. It also upgrades the seating surfaces to a more durable and easy-to-clean material compared to the base Ambiente's fabric. Technology is further enhanced with a wireless charging pad and the inclusion of adaptive cruise control, making long highway drives across the Emirates significantly more comfortable.

Taurus vs Segment Rivals

The Ford Taurus leads rivals like the Toyota Camry and Nissan Altima in terms of raw cabin technology, featuring a standard 13.2-inch touchscreen that outclasses most infotainment displays in this segment. Its 2.0L turbocharged engine provides a punchier 388 Nm of torque, offering more confident overtaking power on fast-moving highways compared to naturally aspirated competitors. The interior dimensions also lean towards the larger side of the mid-size sedan class, offering generous rear legroom suitable for executive or family use.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel efficiency is strong for its size, averaging roughly 6.5 L/100km on open highways, though city driving in stop-start traffic may see figures closer to 9.5 L/100km. Service intervals are typically set at 10,000 km or 6 months at authorized centers like Al Tayer or Premier Motors, ensuring wide maintenance coverage across the UAE. The Taurus historically holds its value well in the GCC due to high local demand, typically seeing a depreciation rate of 12–15% in its first year, which is competitive for the American sedan segment.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L EcoBoost engine delivers 232 hp and 388 Nm of torque, enabling a smooth 0–100 km/h sprint in just 8.1 seconds. The 8-speed automatic transmission is tuned for refinement, offering selectable drive modes including a 'Sport' setting that sharpens throttle response for highway maneuvers. With a top speed of 218 km/h and a 66-litre fuel tank, it is an ideal long-distance cruiser capable of traveling from Dubai to Muscat or Riyadh on a single fill.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the extreme GCC summer, featuring a high-output air conditioning system with dedicated rear vents to ensure all five passengers stay cool. The central focus is the 13.2-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen paired with an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, providing a fully modernized cockpit experience. Acoustic glass and reinforced insulation help keep the cabin quiet, shielding occupants from high-speed wind noise and external heat.

Safety

Safety is a priority with the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite standard on this trim, including Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert, which is vital for multi-lane highway driving. The car is equipped with six airbags, Lane-Keeping Aid, and Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking to help mitigate risks in heavy traffic. A rear-view camera and parking sensors are also standard, simplifying maneuvers in tight urban parking environments.

The bottom line

For the buyer seeking a near-zero mileage executive sedan with a full GCC warranty and the latest tech, this 2025 Taurus Trend is a high-value alternative to buying brand new.
