Summary

This 2025 Ford Taurus Trend is an exceptional find in the GCC market, showing only 365 km on the odometer—effectively a new car without the showroom wait times. Finished in a bold Red, which provides a striking alternative to the standard silver and white seen across the Emirates, it maintains high appeal for both performance and modern tech. The Trend trim offers a significant equipment jump over the base model, including an expansive panoramic sunroof and a 360-degree camera, making it a highly competitive large sedan for family and executive use. For a GCC buyer, this model represents the perfect balance of Ford's proven EcoBoost power and the specific interior refinements needed for the regional climate.

This Car vs Other 2025 Ford Tauruses

With just 365 km, this Taurus is in the bottom 1% for mileage among 2025 models currently in the GCC, offering a virtually brand-new mechanical state. While most 2025 listings have already seen several thousand kilometers of highway use, this car remains in peak condition. The Red exterior is a rare choice in a market dominated by neutral tones, offering a unique presence while retaining the strong resale fundamentals of a GCC-spec Ford.

Trend vs Lower Trims

The Trend trim adds essential upgrades over the base Ambiente that GCC buyers value, most notably a dual-panel panoramic sunroof and a 360-degree camera system for easier parking in tight city spots. It also upgrades the cabin with a more sophisticated 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and premium upholstery. These additions significantly enhance the daily driving experience and provide a stronger residual value floor compared to entry-level trims.

Taurus vs Segment Rivals

The Taurus leads the Toyota Camry and Nissan Altima in sheer interior volume and modern tech integration, featuring a 13.2-inch touchscreen as standard. Its 2.0L EcoBoost engine delivers a more substantial torque punch than many naturally aspirated rivals, which is particularly evident during highway overtaking on routes like the E11. Unlike some competitors, the Taurus is engineered with a specific heavy-duty cooling system to maintain cabin comfort during peak GCC summer temperatures.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is impressive for its size at approximately 15.5 km/l, allowing for long distances between stops on inter-city drives. Ford has an extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts are readily available and maintenance is straightforward. Historically, the Taurus has shown strong value retention in the GCC, often keeping up to 60% of its value after three years, making it a safe financial choice in the large sedan segment.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L EcoBoost engine produces a refined 239 hp and 382 Nm of torque, enabling an 8.1-second sprint to 100 km/h. This power is managed by a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission that offers selectable drive modes, including Sport and Eco, to suit different road conditions. On the highway, the car is noted for its stability and quietness, making it one of the most comfortable long-distance cruisers available in this price bracket.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a massive 13.2-inch central display running SYNC 4 and an 8-inch digital cluster, providing a futuristic environment for all five passengers. Dual-zone automatic climate control is specifically tuned for the high ambient heat of the Middle East, with dedicated rear vents ensuring rear-seat passengers stay cool. The Trend trim features upgraded materials and acoustic glass that significantly reduces wind noise during high-speed highway travel.

Safety

Safety is a primary focus for the 2025 Taurus, which comes standard with six airbags and a comprehensive suite of driver-assist technologies. These include Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), and Lane Departure Warning—all of which are invaluable for managing fast-moving GCC highway traffic. The inclusion of Collision Mitigation and a 360-degree camera provides additional layers of security for urban commuting and parking.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants a new-car experience with a distinct color profile and the added tech of the Trend trim, this 365-km Taurus is the smartest large sedan opportunity on the market today.
