Summary

This 2025 Ford Taurus Trend is effectively a brand-new car with only 365 km on the odometer, offering a massive saving over showroom prices without the typical first-year wear. As a GCC-spec model finished in Red—a color that pairs well with the Taurus's sporty silhouette—it represents one of the strongest value-for-money executive sedans in the UAE market today. It bridges the gap between mid-size commuters and premium luxury cruisers, providing significant rear legroom and a refined turbocharged powertrain. For the local buyer, the combination of Ford's widespread service network and the Trend trim's specific comfort upgrades makes it an ideal all-rounder. This is a rare opportunity to secure a current-model flagship sedan that is still in its break-in phase.

This Car vs Other 2025 Taurus's

With just 365 km since new, this vehicle’s mileage is significantly lower than the typical 25,000 km annual average for sedans in the GCC. While most used 2025 models will have already completed several trips between the Emirates, this example remains in showroom condition. The Red exterior is a refreshing standout in a sea of white and silver, yet it remains a popular and safe choice for maintaining resale value in the regional used car market.

Trend vs Lower Trims

The Trend trim is the 'sweet spot' for GCC buyers, upgrading the base Ambiente's manual features to more sophisticated tech. It adds adaptive cruise control and a blind-spot information system (BLIS), which are essential for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways like Sheikh Zayed Road. Inside, you benefit from dual-zone automatic climate control and a larger infotainment integration compared to entry-level variants, ensuring both driver and passenger comfort during peak summer months.

Taurus vs Segment Rivals

The Taurus competes directly with the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord but leans closer to the executive segment in terms of cabin quietness and wheelbase length. It offers a larger 520-litre boot and significantly more rear knee room, making it a superior choice for those who frequently carry adult passengers or use the car for airport runs. Its 8-speed automatic transmission provides a more traditional, engaged driving feel compared to the CVT systems found in many of its primary regional competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0L EcoBoost unit averages around 6.5 L/100km on the highway, though GCC city traffic will see this closer to 9.0 L/100km. Ford maintains one of the most extensive authorized service networks across UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, with standard 10,000 km service intervals that are reasonably priced. Historically, the Taurus holds its value well in the GCC, typically retaining roughly 60% of its original cost after three years, outperforming many European luxury rivals in the same size category.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine produces a stout 239 hp and 382 Nm of torque, enabling an 8.1-second 0–100 km/h sprint that feels effortless during highway merging. The 8-speed automatic is tuned for smoothness, providing a relaxed cruising experience at the UAE's 140 km/h speed limits. With a 66-liter fuel tank, the Taurus offers a range of over 900 km on a single fill-up, making it an excellent companion for cross-border road trips or long commutes between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the extreme heat of the Gulf, featuring a high-capacity dual-zone climate control system and dedicated rear air vents to keep all five passengers cool. The 13.2-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen is a segment leader for clarity and ease of use, featuring wireless smartphone integration. Extensive use of sound-deadening materials and acoustic glass ensures that wind noise is kept to a minimum, even when driving at high speeds through windy desert corridors.

Safety

This Trend trim comes equipped with Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite, including Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and Lane-Keeping Assist. For GCC highway driving, the adaptive cruise control and 360-degree parking sensors provide an extra layer of confidence in heavy traffic. A total of six airbags—including front, side, and curtain coverage—come standard, providing top-tier passive protection for the entire family.

The bottom line

This is a virtually new executive sedan at a used-car price point, perfect for the professional or family buyer who wants flagship space and modern safety without the showroom premium.
