Summary

This Jetour T2 Luxury Plus is a compelling option for those seeking the look and feel of a premium rugged 4x4 without the high entry cost of European rivals. The Grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the GCC, maintaining strong resale appeal while hiding the dust and sand common to the region. With its 2.0T powertrain and BorgWarner 4WD system, it strikes a rare balance between city refinement and weekend desert capability. The mileage is slightly above average for a one-year-old vehicle in the UAE, but it's well-suited for the long-distance highway commutes typical between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. As a Luxury Plus trim, it provides a feature-rich environment that rivals cars twice its price.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

While typical GCC annual mileage falls between 20,000 and 25,000 km, this T2 has covered 74,557 km, suggesting a history of consistent long-range highway use rather than stop-start city traffic. The Grey exterior is a top-tier resale color in the UAE, often preferred over bolder shades for its ability to withstand the intense sun and maintain a clean appearance. This specific car represents an opportunity to acquire the range-topping Luxury Plus trim at a price point often reserved for lower-spec variants.

LUXURY PLUS vs Lower Trims

The Luxury Plus trim significantly elevates the T2 experience by adding a 12-speaker Sony premium audio system and a sophisticated suite of Level 2 ADAS safety features. Unlike the standard Luxury trim, the Plus often includes ventilated front seats and a 540° panoramic camera system, which are essential for navigating tight Dubai parking spots in the summer heat. You also benefit from a larger 15.6-inch infotainment console and enhanced ambient lighting that provides a genuinely upscale cabin feel.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The Jetour T2 competes directly with the Tank 300 and the BAIC BJ40, offering a more technology-focused interior and a larger 15.6-inch screen than its rivals. While rivals often lean toward pure off-road utility, the T2 provides better on-road refinement thanks to its unibody Kunlun architecture and BorgWarner XWD system. Its 70-litre fuel tank ensures fewer stops during long-distance cross-border drives to Oman or Saudi Arabia compared to smaller-tank competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0L turbo engine delivers a combined fuel economy of approximately 9.3 L/100km, which is competitive for a 4WD SUV in GCC conditions. Jetour has established a massive service network across the UAE through Elite Group, with standard service intervals every 10,000 km or 6 months. While Chinese brands typically face higher initial depreciation than Japanese mainstays, the T2's unique 'box-SUV' styling and high local demand have helped it maintain better value retention than previous models in the segment.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 2.0L turbocharged engine producing 390 Nm of torque, the T2 offers effortless highway overtaking and reliable sand-tracking ability. The BorgWarner sixth-generation XWD system automatically manages torque distribution, allowing you to transition from the E311 to light desert trails without manual intervention. Its 220 mm ground clearance and impressive 39° approach angle ensure it can handle rugged terrain and steep dunes that would stop most standard crossovers.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the extreme GCC climate, featuring powerful dual-zone air conditioning and ventilated front seats to keep you cool during peak summer months. The five-seat layout offers generous legroom and a massive 752-litre boot space, making it an ideal family workhorse for weekend road trips. A panoramic sunroof floods the cabin with light, while extensive acoustic glass helps maintain a quiet, insulated environment even at highway speeds.

Safety

Safety is a priority with a full suite of Level 2 autonomous driving aids, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Forward Collision Warning. The 540° panoramic parking system is particularly useful in the GCC, providing a 'transparent chassis' view to help avoid rocks off-road or high curbs in the city. Multiple airbags and a high-strength steel body construction provide robust protection for all five occupants.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants a modern, tech-heavy SUV with unmistakable road presence and GCC-ready cooling, this Luxury Plus T2 is an excellent value-driven alternative to traditional luxury off-roaders.
