Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 LUX is a compelling buy for those seeking a rugged, modern SUV that handles the UAE's high-speed highways and weekend desert escapes with equal poise. The professional black exterior is a highly resale-stable choice in the GCC, and with 65,000 km, this vehicle has been broken in properly for long-distance regional commuting. The LUX trim offers a significant technology leap over base models, featuring a massive infotainment hub and a premium Sony sound system that stands out in its segment. For a GCC buyer, the combination of a robust four-wheel-drive system and a high-clearance body makes it a versatile daily driver ready for any terrain.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

With 65,000 km on the odometer, this T2 has been driven more than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual GCC average, suggesting regular highway use which is often better for mechanical longevity than short city bursts. The black exterior is a premier choice for the local market, ensuring it retains value better than more niche colors. It offers a clear entry point into a nearly-new 2025 model without the initial depreciation hit of a showroom purchase.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim adds essential luxury features that GCC buyers prioritize, including ventilated front seats to combat summer heat and a superior 12-speaker Sony audio system. Compared to the base Comfort trim, it upgrades to a larger 15.6-inch high-resolution touchscreen and adds a 360-degree surround camera system, which is invaluable for parking in tight urban spaces like Dubai or Riyadh. You also benefit from expanded ADAS safety features, including blind-spot monitoring for safer highway merging.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The T2 leads rivals like the Tank 300 and Haval Dargo by offering a more futuristic, tech-heavy cabin dominated by a Snapdragon-powered interface. Its 70-liter fuel tank is specifically suited for long-distance cross-border drives across the GCC, providing a range that outclasses many smaller-tanked urban crossovers. The unibody construction ensures a smoother, more refined highway ride compared to the stiffer body-on-frame competitors in the rugged SUV segment.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0L turbo engine typically averages between 10–12 L/100km in mixed GCC conditions, though steady 120 km/h highway cruising can yield better efficiency. Jetour has rapidly expanded its authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, ensuring parts and maintenance are easily accessible. While initial depreciation for new brands can be steeper than Japanese rivals, the T2's high regional demand has helped stabilize resale values at around a 12–15% annual dip.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L engine delivers a responsive 254 hp, allowing the T2 to merge confidently onto fast-moving 140 km/h highways. Off-road, the 220 mm ground clearance and BorgWarner 6th-generation 4WD system provide genuine capability for gravel tracks, seasonal wadis, and light dune driving. With selectable terrain modes including Mud, Sand, and Rock, the vehicle intelligently adjusts power delivery to ensure stability on the UAE's diverse natural surfaces.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the Middle Eastern climate, featuring high-performance air conditioning with rear dedicated vents and ventilated seats that are essential during peak summer months. The five-seat layout offers generous legroom and a flat-folding rear row, providing ample cargo space for family camping trips to Hatta or Jebel Jais. Acoustic glass and quality insulation help maintain a quiet environment, shielding passengers from road noise and desert heat.

Safety

The LUX trim comes standard with a full suite of safety technologies, including six airbags and a 360-degree camera system for total visibility. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist make long desert highway drives significantly less fatiguing. Additionally, Hill Descent Control and Electronic Stability Control provide crucial support when navigating steep or loose sandy inclines.

The bottom line

This Jetour T2 LUX is the ideal choice for a tech-savvy adventurer who needs a rugged-looking SUV with the refinement of a modern executive car. It represents a smart opportunity to secure a highly-specced 2025 model that is fully equipped for the GCC's unique driving demands.
