Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 LUX offers a compelling package for GCC buyers who want a rugged, off-road aesthetic without sacrificing modern cabin technology. With 50,000 km, it has been regularly driven across the region, making it a well-vetted example of this popular new entrant. The Grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the Middle East, balancing heat reflection with strong resale demand in the secondary market. As the LUX trim, it serves as a high-spec alternative to Japanese crossovers, providing premium features like a 360° camera and ventilated seats that are essential for the local climate. For a buyer in the UAE or KSA, this represents a significant saving over new showroom prices while retaining the balance of its lengthy manufacturer warranty.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

At 50,000 km, this T2 has seen slightly higher-than-average use for its first year, reflecting the typical long-distance highway commuting common between UAE emirates. While the mileage is higher than some showroom-condition units, it indicates a mechanically proven vehicle that has already navigated the high-depreciation first year of ownership. The Grey finish is one of the most sought-after colors for this model in the GCC, offering better value retention than more niche or vibrant shades.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim provides significant upgrades over the entry-level Comfort (COM) variant, including a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) like Lane Departure Warning and Blind Spot Sensing. Inside, you benefit from a premium 12-speaker audio system and ventilated front seats, which are critical for comfort during the peak GCC summer months. Additionally, the LUX trim includes a panoramic sunroof and a 360° panoramic camera system that makes parking this boxy SUV considerably easier in tight urban spaces.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The Jetour T2 is frequently cross-shopped with the GWM Tank 300 and the BAIC BJ40, leading the segment in digital cabin technology and standard equipment for the price. Its unibody construction offers superior on-road refinement for daily city driving compared to the body-on-frame Tank 300, while still maintaining a robust 220 mm ground clearance for weekend desert excursions. The 70-litre fuel tank also gives it a range advantage for long cross-border drives compared to many compact crossovers in the same price bracket.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0T engine typically ranges between 10.0 and 11.5 L/100km, depending on the mix of Dubai city traffic and open highway driving. Jetour has established a strong presence in the GCC with authorized service centers across all major cities, and service intervals are typically set at every 10,000 km. While Chinese brands initially see a faster depreciation curve than legacy Japanese brands, the T2's high local demand and 10-year engine warranty support better value retention at the 3-year mark than previous generations of Chinese SUVs.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-litre turbocharged engine delivers a healthy 254 hp and 390 Nm of torque, providing plenty of punch for highway overtaking on the E11 or E311. It features BorgWarner's 6th-generation 4WD system with seven selectable driving modes, allowing it to transition seamlessly from city pavement to gravel wadi tracks. With a top speed of 180 km/h and a unibody frame, it feels planted and stable during high-speed cruising between emirates, even in crosswinds.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is designed for the GCC climate, featuring a powerful dual-zone air conditioning system and standard ventilated front seats to combat high temperatures. The cabin is dominated by a large 15.6-inch touchscreen and a digital cockpit, giving it one of the most modern feels in its class. Rear passengers enjoy dedicated cooling vents and a flat floor, making it a genuinely comfortable five-seater for family trips or weekend adventures.

Safety

Safety is a priority in the LUX trim, which comes equipped with six airbags and a comprehensive ADAS suite. Standard features include Adaptive Cruise Control for effortless highway journeys, Forward Collision Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking. The 360° camera system provides high-definition visibility for off-road obstacles and tight city parking, while the electronic stability program is specifically tuned to handle both sandy tracks and wet tarmac.

The bottom line

This Jetour T2 LUX is an ideal choice for the tech-focused family or adventurer looking for a high-spec SUV that has already absorbed its steepest depreciation. It offers a premium cabin experience and genuine weekend capability at a fraction of the cost of its European or Japanese rivals.
