Summary

This 2025 Defender 110 X-DYNAMIC SE P500 represents a rare opportunity to own the supercharged V8 powertrain with remarkably low mileage for the GCC market. The Santorini Black exterior offers the strongest resale profile in the region, paired with the P500's balanced 493 hp output that sits perfectly between the standard I6 and the full V8 flagship. As a 2025 model with just 17,000 km, it bypasses the initial depreciation hit while remaining mechanically fresh for years of desert exploration or city commuting. The X-DYNAMIC SE trim bridges the gap between rugged utility and high-end luxury, making it the most versatile configuration for Dubai’s varied driving demands.

This Car vs Other 2025 Defender 110s

With only 17,000 km on the odometer, this Defender is significantly below the typical 25,000 km annual average for SUVs in the UAE. The P500 supercharged V8 engine is far less common in the local market than the P300 or P400 variants, offering a distinct performance advantage. Finished in gloss black, it maintains the most desirable color for secondary market liquidity in the GCC.

X-DYNAMIC SE P500 vs Lower Trims

The P500 X-DYNAMIC SE replaces the standard inline-6 with a 5.0-litre supercharged V8, providing the effortless torque required for heavy sand and high-speed highway overtaking. This trim upgrades the cabin with a 10-speaker Meridian sound system, configurable ambient lighting, and durable Resist seats designed to withstand fine desert dust. It also includes the advanced Terrain Response 2 system as standard, which is often an optional extra on the base S trims.

Defender 110 vs Segment Rivals

The Defender 110 competes directly with the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and the Toyota Land Cruiser 300-series. It leads the segment in technical sophistication with its 35.4-inch wading depth and highly adjustable electronic air suspension, offering a more refined on-road ride than the G-Wagon while maintaining legendary off-road geometry. Its unibody architecture provides superior high-speed stability on the E11 compared to traditional body-on-frame competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the P500 V8 averages approximately 15.1 L/100km, making the large 90-litre fuel tank essential for long-distance drives across the Emirates. Authorized Land Rover service centers are extensively available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts and expert maintenance are never out of reach. While European luxury SUVs typically depreciate at 15% annually, the Defender 110 V8 has historically held its value roughly 10% better due to high regional demand for the iconic nameplate.

Performance & Capability

The 5.0-litre supercharged V8 delivers 493 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 5.4 seconds. Its electronic air suspension can raise the vehicle to provide 11.5 inches of ground clearance, making it virtually unstoppable in deep sand ruts or rocky wadis. With a towing capacity of 8,200 lbs, it is perfectly suited for hauling large marine craft or heavy trailers to the coast.

Comfort & Cabin

The 5-seat cabin is specifically engineered for high-temperature climates, featuring a powerful multi-zone climate control system and ventilated front seats as standard. The 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen is crisp and responsive, providing seamless wireless smartphone integration for long cross-border journeys. Acoustic glass and extensive insulation ensure the V8's roar stays outside, maintaining a quiet, refined atmosphere during daily city traffic.

Safety

This trim is equipped with a full ADAS suite including a 3D Surround Camera with ClearSight Ground View, which is invaluable for both tight mall parking and technical off-roading. Blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control provide a critical safety layer for fast-moving GCC highway traffic. The vehicle also features Emergency Braking and Lane Keep Assist, ensuring maximum protection for all five occupants.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the prestige and power of a V8 Defender without the price tag of a brand-new flagship, this low-mileage 2025 X-DYNAMIC SE is the definitive choice in the UAE market today.
