Summary

This 2025 Nissan Altima SPORT offers a sharp, modern aesthetic in a black finish that remains a top-tier choice for resale value in the local market. With just 24,000 km, it sits perfectly within the expected range for a one-year-old vehicle in the GCC, suggesting it has primarily handled the region's common highway commutes. The Altima continues to lead its segment for long-distance cruising comfort, thanks to a chassis tuned for stability and a large fuel tank ideal for cross-emirate travel. For the GCC buyer, the strength of the Nissan nameplate ensures that specialized service and genuine parts are accessible in every major city from Dubai to Riyadh. It remains a standout choice for those seeking a reliable, fuel-efficient sedan that handles the summer heat without compromising on style.

This Car vs Other 2025 Altimas

At 24,000 km, this vehicle's mileage is exactly in line with the GCC average for a one-year-old car, reflecting the typical high-mileage highway driving common in the region. The black exterior is a highly desirable 'safe' color in the UAE and wider GCC, consistently commanding better resale prices and faster turnaround times than niche colors. Choosing a recently manufactured 2025 model ensures you benefit from the latest iteration of Nissan's Xtronic CVT, which has been further refined for durability in high-temperature environments.

SPORT vs Lower Trims

The SPORT trim provides a significant visual and mechanical upgrade over the standard SV, most notably adding a sport-tuned suspension that offers sharper handling for highway overtakes. Inside, you get a leather-wrapped steering wheel and transmission paddle shifters that aren't available on base models, creating a more engaged driving experience. The exterior is set apart by 19-inch machine-finished aluminum-alloy wheels and a dark chrome V-Motion grille, giving it a much more aggressive presence on the road compared to the 17-inch wheels found on lower trims.

Altima vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, the Altima stands out for its high-speed stability and exceptional seat comfort during long GCC road trips. It offers a larger fuel tank than many rivals, providing superior total range for those driving between Dubai and Abu Dhabi or across the Saudi border. While the Accord focuses on turbocharging, the Altima’s 2.5L naturally aspirated engine is widely regarded by regional mechanics as a simpler, highly reliable choice for the extreme summer heat.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.5L powertrain in GCC conditions is approximately 8.2 L/100km combined, though it can drop to nearly 6.9 L/100km on steady highway cruises. Nissan operates one of the most extensive authorized service networks in the Middle East, ensuring that maintenance is convenient and affordable whether you are in the UAE, Kuwait, or Saudi Arabia. Historically, the Altima retains roughly 54-60% of its value after three years in the GCC market, performing significantly better than European competitors in the same price bracket. Maintenance intervals are typically every 10,000 km, making it a predictable and low-stress vehicle to own long-term.

Performance & Capability

The 182 hp engine is tuned for smooth, linear power delivery, capable of reaching a top speed of 223 km/h. Its sport-tuned suspension is designed to reduce body roll, providing more confidence during the fast-moving lane changes typical of UAE highways. The 0-100 km/h sprint is achieved in approximately 8.0 seconds, which is more than adequate for daily commuting and safe merging into high-speed traffic. The front-wheel-drive configuration paired with the optimized CVT ensures that power is always available without the fuel penalty of heavier all-wheel-drive systems.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is built to isolate passengers from the outside environment, featuring high-quality insulation that keeps the interior quiet and cool even when external temperatures exceed 45°C. Nissan’s powerful air conditioning system is a legendary feature in the GCC, specifically engineered to reach optimal cabin temperatures faster than most rivals. The SPORT trim includes premium sport cloth seats with contrast stitching, providing a driver-focused atmosphere that feels more upscale than the segment standard. Rear passengers benefit from ample legroom and dedicated cooling vents, ensuring family comfort during long summer drives.

Safety

This Altima comes standard with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite, which is particularly useful for the region’s multi-lane highway driving. Key features include Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, helping you navigate busy traffic safely. It also features Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection and Lane Departure Warning, providing an extra layer of security for long desert drives. The inclusion of these active systems as standard equipment makes it one of the safest and most technologically assisted sedans in its class.

The bottom line

For a buyer looking for a nearly new sedan with a sportier edge, this 2025 Altima SPORT is a smart choice that balances modern tech with the region's best resale and service support. It is the ideal opportunity to skip the initial depreciation of a showroom car while securing a vehicle that is perfectly suited for the GCC's demanding climate.
