Summary

This 2025 Nissan Kicks SL represents the first year of the model's significant redesign, now featuring a more powerful 2.0L engine and a rugged all-wheel-drive system. With mileage that aligns perfectly with a single year of typical GCC highway commuting, it offers a nearly-new driving experience without the initial showroom depreciation. The SL trim is the premium choice for local buyers, including essential desert-climate features and high-end cabin technology that rivals larger SUVs. Finished in Grey, a neutral and high-demand color in the regional used market, this listing is a savvy opportunity for those seeking a modern, fuel-efficient crossover with a full suite of safety tech. It stands out in the segment for balancing a compact footprint with enough clearance for light weekend adventures.

This Car vs Other 2025 Kicks

With 24,338 km on the odometer, this Kicks has been driven roughly the average annual distance for the GCC region, where highway travel is routine. This is considered an ideal 'broken-in' status for a Japanese crossover, ensuring all systems have been vetted under local thermal conditions. The Grey exterior is a top-tier choice for resale in the UAE and Saudi markets, offering better long-term value retention than brighter, niche colors.

SL vs Lower Trims

The SL trim is a major leap over the S and SV, most notably adding the Intelligent Around View 360-degree camera which is indispensable for tight parking in Dubai or Riyadh. Inside, the SL features the premium 10-speaker Bose Personal Plus audio system with headrest speakers and an upgraded 12.3-inch digital cockpit. It also secures the full ProPILOT Assist suite, providing a level of semi-autonomous highway cruising not found on the base models.

Kicks vs Segment Rivals

The 2025 Kicks leads the subcompact segment in ground clearance, offering 213 mm which surpasses the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos for better capability on gravel or uneven terrain. Its cargo capacity is also a segment standout, providing nearly 850 liters of space in some configurations, rivaling SUVs from the size class above. For GCC buyers, Nissan’s air conditioning efficiency remains a key advantage over European competitors like the Renault Captur.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this AWD model sits around 7.8 L/100km, making it one of the most efficient non-hybrid crossovers for daily stop-start traffic. Nissan’s extensive authorized service network across the UAE, KSA, and Kuwait ensures parts are affordable and maintenance is convenient. As a Japanese-branded GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from the region's strongest value retention, typically depreciating significantly slower than American or Chinese rivals at the three-year mark.

Performance & Capability

The new 2.0L naturally aspirated engine delivers 141 hp and 190 Nm of torque, providing a more confident highway overtaking experience than previous Kicks generations. The Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system is paired with a specific Snow mode, which in a GCC context translates to improved stability on loose sand and wet surfaces during the winter months. A 213 mm ground clearance ensures the underbody stays protected when transitioning from asphalt to light off-road trails.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around Nissan's Zero Gravity seats, designed to reduce fatigue during long inter-city drives between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This trim features leatherette-appointed seating and a panoramic sunroof that adds an airy feel to the redesigned interior. Critical for the Gulf climate, the SL comes with a robust automatic climate control system and dedicated rear vents to ensure all five passengers remain cool during peak summer heat.

Safety

Safety is anchored by the Nissan Safety Shield 360, which includes Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert—vital tools for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways. The SL trim also includes ProPILOT Assist, combining adaptive cruise control with steering assist to reduce driver stress during long desert hauls. Ten airbags and 5-star crash test ratings provide the peace of mind expected from a modern family crossover.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the latest tech and AWD capability in a city-friendly package, this nearly-new SL trim Kicks is the smartest way to jump into the current generation while letting the first owner cover the initial depreciation.
