Nissan Patrol NISMO NISSAN PETROL NISMO 2018

Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 6.5 seconds
• 428 hp from a 5.6-litre V8
• 3,500 kg braked towing capacity

Summary

This 8-year-old Nissan Patrol NISMO stands as a rare and high-performance variant of the region's most beloved SUV. With 91,999 km, the mileage is remarkably low for its age in the GCC, where the annual average typically exceeds 20,000 km, suggesting this example was likely a secondary vehicle. The White exterior is the most sought-after color for the Y62 platform in the local market, ensuring superior heat reflection and the strongest possible resale value. As a NISMO-tuned flagship, it offers a unique combination of track-inspired handling and three-row family utility that standard rivals cannot match. For a buyer in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, this represents a chance to own a low-mileage performance icon with the backing of a vast authorized service network.

This Car vs Other 2018 Nissan Patrols

At 91,999 km, this vehicle has covered less than half the distance of an average 2018 model in the GCC, which typically sits between 160,000 and 200,000 km. The white finish is a strategic advantage for local buyers, commanding a higher premium and faster turnaround time at resale compared to darker tones. Its mechanical condition benefits from the legendary reliability of the VK56 engine, which is well-suited for the extreme high-temperature highway runs common across the Emirates.

NISMO vs Lower Trims

The NISMO trim adds a significant 28 hp over the standard V8 LE models, bringing output to 428 hp. It features exclusive NISMO-tuned Bilstein shock absorbers for sharper handling and 22-inch RAYS forged alloy wheels that reduce unsprung weight. Inside, it replaces the standard wood trim with carbon fiber accents and adds NISMO-branded Alcantara sport seats, offering a much more driver-focused cockpit than the comfort-oriented Platinum City trim.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

While cross-shopped with the Toyota Land Cruiser VXR and the Lexus LX 570, the Patrol NISMO leads with a more aggressive, aerodynamic body kit and a sport-tuned chassis designed for high-speed stability. It offers a larger 140-litre fuel tank, providing superior range for long-distance cross-border drives compared to most European performance SUVs. The NISMO's 8-seat configuration also makes it more practical for large families than many luxury rivals that limit seating to seven.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 5.6L V8 in GCC conditions averages 16–18 L/100 km, though heavy city traffic and air conditioning use can push this higher. Nissan boasts one of the most extensive authorized service networks across all GCC countries, including Al Masaood and Arabian Automobiles in the UAE, ensuring parts are always available. The NISMO trim retains value exceptionally well, typically depreciating at a slower rate than European luxury SUVs due to its cultural status and mechanical durability.

Performance & Capability

The NISMO-tuned 5.6-litre V8 delivers 428 hp and 560 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 6.5 seconds—impressive for a vehicle of this size. It features a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, making it ideal for hauling boats or trailers to the coast. Despite its sportier focus, it retains the All-Mode 4x4 system and 195 mm of ground clearance, allowing for confident weekend excursions on sand and gravel surfaces.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a blend of luxury and performance, featuring tri-zone climate control with powerful rear cooling vents essential for the Middle Eastern summer. The 8-seat layout is finished in premium leather and Alcantara with red NISMO stitching, providing both grip and comfort during long desert highway drives. Acoustic glass and improved insulation ensure the interior remains quiet and shielded from exterior heat and road noise.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include a 360-degree Around View Monitor, which is vital for parking such a large SUV in tight city spaces. It also includes Intelligent Cruise Control and Blind Spot Warning, providing peace of mind during fast-paced multi-lane highway commutes. The vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive airbag system, including front, side, and curtain airbags, alongside advanced stability and traction control systems.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity for a GCC enthusiast to secure a low-mileage, NISMO-tuned icon that offers supercar-inspired presence with the indestructible reliability the Patrol is known for.
