Summary

This 2025 Nissan Patrol LE Platinum City represents the flagship of the all-new Y63 generation, offering a massive leap in technology and luxury over its predecessor. With only one year of age, it bypasses the long waiting lists typical for this model while retaining the manufacturer's early-lifecycle appeal in the GCC. The White exterior is arguably the most sought-after color for the Patrol in the UAE, ensuring maximum resale strength and better heat reflection during peak summer. As the top-tier Platinum City trim, it features the sophisticated twin-turbo V6 and air suspension that rivals executive luxury sedans. For the GCC buyer, this is the definitive choice for a vehicle that transitions seamlessly from prestigious city arrival to long-distance cross-border cruising.

This Car vs Other 2025 Patrols

With 122,228 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been utilized significantly more than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for the UAE. However, for a one-year-old Nissan Patrol, this mileage suggests extensive highway use between Emirates, which is often preferable to stop-start city wear. The Radiant White paint remains the gold standard for resale value in the GCC used market.

LE PLATINUM CITY vs Lower Trims

The LE Platinum City is the only trim in the lineup to feature adaptive air suspension, providing a superior ride quality compared to the coil-spring setup in the Titanium. It also adds 22-inch machine-cut alloy wheels, a 12-speaker Klipsch audio system, and the revolutionary 'Biometric Cooling' system that detects passenger body temperature to adjust airflow. These high-end comfort features are major value drivers in the secondary market.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Patrol LE Platinum City leads the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in both horsepower and torque, offering 425 hp versus the rival's 409 hp. Its massive 28.6-inch Monolith display provides a significantly more modern cabin experience than the Lexus LX or Land Cruiser. Furthermore, Nissan's wide service network across Saudi Arabia and the UAE ensures parts availability that boutique rivals cannot match.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5L twin-turbo V6 is roughly 12% more fuel-efficient than the outgoing V8, though real-world GCC heavy-footed driving will still see consumption around 14.4L/100km. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, and Nissan's authorized network is one of the most robust in the region. Historically, the Patrol LE Platinum City retains nearly 85-90% of its value after the first year in the UAE market, making it a very stable asset.

Performance & Capability

The twin-turbo engine delivers a massive 700 Nm of torque, enabling effortless highway overtaking and superior low-end pull for desert dune climbs. The 9-speed automatic transmission provides smoother shifts than the previous 7-speed, making long drives to Oman or Abu Dhabi far more refined. Despite its luxury trim, it retains a 3,500 kg towing capacity and a 4WD system with selectable terrain modes for sand, rock, and mud.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of burgundy quilted leather and high-tech displays, featuring ventilated and heated seats essential for the 45°C+ GCC summers. While the spec sheet indicates a 4-seat configuration, this flagship cabin prioritizes individual passenger space and a premium atmosphere. Acoustic glass and improved insulation ensure the cabin remains quiet even at high highway speeds across the desert.

Safety

The LE Platinum City comes standard with Nissan’s full ProPILOT Assist suite, which includes adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist—ideal for the long, straight highways of the UAE and Saudi Arabia. It features 7 airbags, including a driver-knee airbag, and a 360° 'Invisible Hood View' camera system that is invaluable for both tight mall parking and navigating tricky off-road crests.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a high-mileage commuter or fleet operator to secure the region's most prestigious SUV in its highest trim at a normalized price point for the Y63 generation.
