Summary

This 2025 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge represents the absolute peak of the luxury SUV market in the GCC, offering a level of presence and performance that rivals simply cannot match. With just 7,000 km, this vehicle is barely past its break-in period, making it a premier opportunity for a buyer seeking a near-new experience without the lead time of a bespoke order. The Black Badge trim elevates the standard V12 output while introducing a bolder, blacked-out aesthetic that is highly coveted in the local pre-owned market. Black remains the most resilient resale color in the UAE and wider GCC, ensuring strong value retention for the next owner. For the discerning driver in Dubai or Riyadh, this is the ultimate statement in refined, all-terrain authority.

This Car vs Other 2025 Cullinans

With only 7,000 km on the odometer, this Cullinan’s mileage is exceptionally low compared to the typical 20,000 km annual average for luxury vehicles in the GCC. The Black exterior is the primary color of choice for high-end resale in the region, offering a distinct advantage over more niche factory palettes. As a 2025 model, it benefits from the latest Spirit infotainment updates and the redesigned Series II lighting signatures standard on this production year.

BLACK BADGE vs Lower Trims

The Black Badge trim is the 'alter ego' of the standard Cullinan, increasing the 6.7-litre V12's output from 563 hp to a commanding 600 hp. Beyond the power bump, it adds the signature darkened Pantheon grille, black chrome Spirit of Ecstasy, and technical carbon fibre interior trim that GCC buyers pay a significant premium for. It also features a retuned suspension and a 'Low' mode on the gear selector that provides a more aggressive exhaust note and sharper throttle response.

Cullinan vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Bentley Bentayga or the Range Rover SV, the Cullinan offers a larger 90-litre fuel tank, providing superior range for long-distance desert highway drives. The V12 engine configuration is now a rarity in the segment, offering a level of smoothness and low-end torque that V8-powered rivals cannot replicate. Its 600-litre boot capacity also leads the ultra-luxury class, making it more practical for family weekend trips between Emirates.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the twin-turbo V12 averages around 16.8 L/100km, though this will increase in heavy GCC city traffic. Rolls-Royce offers extensive authorized service coverage across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, with recommended maintenance intervals every 12 months or 10,000 km. Historically, the Black Badge trim retains roughly 80-82% of its value after the first three years in the GCC market, significantly outperforming its segment peers due to high local demand.

Performance & Capability

Despite its massive presence, the Black Badge reaches 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, ensuring effortless overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways. The self-levelling air suspension makes millions of calculations per second to maintain a 'magic carpet ride' even when transitioning from smooth asphalt to gravel surfaces. All-wheel steering is standard, significantly reducing the turning circle to make navigating urban environments like Downtown Dubai surprisingly agile.

Comfort & Cabin

This 4-seat configuration features the Individual Seat layout, providing rear passengers with massage functions and a fixed center console housing a refrigerated cool box. The powerful quad-zone climate control is engineered for 45°C+ summer heat, ensuring the cabin remains chilled regardless of external temperatures. The iconic Starlight Headliner and thick acoustic glass provide a near-silent sanctuary, perfectly insulating occupants from city noise and wind buffeting at highway speeds.

Safety

Standard safety features include an advanced Night Vision thermal imaging camera that detects pedestrians or wildlife beyond the reach of the headlights—a vital tool for unlit desert roads. The full ADAS suite provides Active Cruise Control, Collision Warning, and Lane Departure Warning to reduce fatigue during long cross-border drives. Furthermore, the 360° surround-view system and high-resolution cameras make parking this substantial SUV effortless in tight spaces.

The bottom line

This 2025 Black Badge is the ideal acquisition for a GCC buyer who demands a virtually new V12 powerhouse in the region's most desirable color and trim combination.
