Summary

This 2025 Ghost Extended Wheelbase offers a rare opportunity to acquire the latest iteration of the world's most successful luxury sedan with zero wait time. The EWB trim is the definitive choice for the GCC market, where the extra 170mm of rear legroom significantly impacts comfort during long inter-city drives across the Emirates. With its black exterior ensuring the highest possible resale stability in the region, this specific example represents a secure asset for the discerning collector. It stands apart from rivals by offering the peerless Planar suspension system, specifically engineered to isolate the cabin from road imperfections at high highway speeds. For a buyer in the Gulf, this Ghost provides the ultimate balance of executive presence and the mechanical durability required for the local climate.

This Car vs Other 2025 Ghosts

While many 2025 models are standard wheelbase versions, this Extended Wheelbase (EWB) example offers the enhanced rear-cabin dimensions that command a premium in the GCC used market. The black-on-black configuration is consistently the most requested color combination in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring this car remains highly liquid compared to more bespoke or experimental shades. As a brand-new model year with negligible mileage, it carries the full benefit of the latest software updates and materials without the depreciation typically seen in year-old examples.

EWB vs Lower Trims

The Extended Wheelbase (EWB) trim adds 170mm of additional space exclusively to the rear compartment, transforming the back seat into a genuine first-class lounge. Unlike the standard trim, the EWB includes the Serenity Seating package as standard, featuring reclining rear chairs and a larger central console refrigerator. It also standardizes the Starlight Headliner and the 1,300-watt bespoke audio system, features that are often optional on base configurations.

Ghost vs Segment Rivals

The Ghost leads the Bentley Flying Spur and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class in cabin insulation, utilizing over 100kg of acoustic damping material to maintain silence at high cruising speeds. Its 6.8L V12 provides a smoother, more linear power delivery than the Bentley's sport-oriented W12 or the Maybach's V8 hybrid systems. The Ghost's 82-liter fuel tank is specifically suited for the long-distance highway travel common between GCC capitals, offering a greater range between stops than its more fuel-sensitive competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 15.2 L/100km, which is standard for the ultra-luxury V12 segment in GCC stop-start traffic. Service intervals are typically once every 12,000 km or 12 months, and Rolls-Royce maintains an extensive authorized service network in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Doha. The EWB trim traditionally retains 85-88% of its value after the first year in the UAE market, outperforming the depreciation rates of its German luxury counterparts.

Performance & Capability

Despite its focus on comfort, the 563 hp twin-turbo V12 propels this sedan to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds, ensuring effortless overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h, providing a stable and quiet experience even at the legal limit. The Planar suspension system includes an upper wishbone damper and a proactive camera system that scans the road surface ahead, adjusting the ride before the car even hits a bump.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features the world-renowned 'Effortless Doors' which open and close electrically from the inside, a vital convenience in the peak of the GCC summer. Four-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents ensures rapid cooling of the extended cabin, while the ventilated seats across all four main positions provide essential relief during high-temperature months. Hand-stitched leather and book-matched wood veneers create an environment of traditional craft that modern tech-heavy rivals cannot replicate.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive ADAS suite including Night Vision with pedestrian and wildlife detection, particularly useful for night driving on unlit desert roads. The car features a high-resolution 360-degree camera system and active cruise control with stop-and-go functionality for heavy traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. A total of 10 airbags and a reinforced aluminum spaceframe provide world-class occupant protection that is standard across the Ghost range.

The bottom line

This 2025 Ghost EWB is the ideal choice for an executive buyer who prioritizes rear-seat space and the prestige of a V12, offering immediate delivery in the GCC's most resilient resale color.
