Summary

This 2025 Rolls Royce Phantom EWB represents the absolute pinnacle of automotive engineering, offering an ownership experience that no other vehicle in the GCC can replicate. With negligible mileage, this GCC-spec example provides the peace of mind of a brand-new vehicle with the immediate availability that discerning regional buyers demand. The Extended Wheelbase (EWB) configuration is particularly sought after in the Middle East, where the preference for chauffeur-driven excellence and maximum rear-cabin volume drives long-term resale value. Its sophisticated blue exterior is a timeless choice that holds its appeal in the local market, offering a distinguished alternative to the more common white or black palettes. For the executive or private collector in the UAE or wider Gulf, this car stands as the ultimate statement of success and refined taste. Owning a Phantom in this region ensures entry into an exclusive tier of motoring, backed by a service network that understands the requirements of ultra-luxury ownership in a desert climate.

This Car vs Other 2025 Phantoms

When comparing this specific 2025 Phantom EWB to others currently available in the GCC market, the exceptionally low mileage of just 2680 km effectively places it in a 'delivery-mileage' category. While the average high-end luxury sedan in the UAE might cover 20,000 km in its first year due to frequent commutes between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, this car has been preserved in near-showroom condition. This low usage ensures that all mechanical components, specifically the cooling systems vital for the GCC heat, are in their prime operational state. The blue exterior is a high-value asset in the local resale market, as it offers a bespoke feel that remains highly liquid should you decide to upgrade in the future. Choosing a GCC-spec model over a European or North American import is a critical advantage here, as it ensures the air conditioning and engine cooling systems are specifically mapped for 45°C+ temperatures. Buyers will find this car offers the same freshness as a factory order without the typical multi-month waiting period associated with the EWB trim.

EWB vs Lower Trims

The EWB (Extended Wheelbase) trim is the definitive choice for those who view the car as a sanctuary rather than just a mode of transport. Unlike the standard Phantom, the EWB provides an additional 220mm of rear legroom, transforming the back of the cabin into a private lounge that rivals first-class aviation. This trim includes the Serenity Seats as a standard focus, featuring enhanced recline angles and calf rests that are essential for long journeys across the Emirates. You also receive the 'Gallery' dashboard as standard, allowing for a level of artistic customization not found in lesser models. In the GCC, the EWB trim commands a significant premium at resale because it is the preferred choice for official diplomatic use and high-net-worth individuals. Additional insulation and thicker acoustic glass are integrated into this longer frame to ensure the whisper-quiet 'Magic Carpet Ride' is never interrupted by outside traffic. It also features upgraded rear-seat climate controls, ensuring that passengers in the back can maintain a perfect 19°C environment even during the peak of the Gulf summer.

Phantom vs Segment Rivals

The Rolls Royce Phantom EWB occupies a unique space above traditional luxury rivals like the Bentley Mulsanne or the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. While the Maybach offers impressive technology, the Phantom leads with its hand-assembled 6.8L V12 engine, providing a level of effortless torque and silence that a mass-produced platform cannot match. In terms of presence on GCC roads, the Phantom’s iconic silhouette and massive grille offer an unmistakable stature that competitors simply cannot replicate. Its fuel tank is sized for significant range, making it far better suited for cross-border trips from Dubai to Riyadh than smaller-displacement rivals. The interior craftsmanship uses significantly thicker hides and deeper-pile wool carpets than any other sedan in the segment, ensuring it feels more substantial and durable in the long run. While other brands focus on sporty dynamics, the Phantom prioritizes absolute isolation, which is a major advantage on the straight, sun-beaten highways of the Middle East. It remains the only choice for those who refuse to settle for anything less than the undisputed leader of the ultra-luxury class.

Running Costs & Resale

Operating a 12-cylinder masterpiece in the GCC involves a commitment to premium maintenance, but the rewards are found in the car's remarkable value retention. Real-world fuel consumption for the 6.8L engine typically hovers around 15-18L/100km, which is manageable given the region's accessible fuel prices and the car's massive fuel tank. This is a GCC-spec vehicle, meaning it is fully supported by authorized service centers in every major city from Dubai and Muscat to Doha and Riyadh. Service intervals are typically condition-based but generally occur every 12,000 to 15,000 km, involving specialized technicians who are trained to maintain the complex air suspension and bespoke electronics. While luxury cars generally see a 15% annual depreciation in the UAE, the Phantom EWB tends to follow a much shallower curve due to its low production numbers and high demand among elite circles. At the 3-year mark, a well-maintained, low-mileage EWB often retains a higher percentage of its original value than any other sedan in its class. This makes it not just a purchase of passion, but a relatively stable asset within the context of high-end automotive ownership.

Performance & Capability

At the heart of this Phantom is a 563 hp twin-turbocharged V12 that delivers its power with a sense of 'adequacy' that defines the brand—never strained, always silent. The 0-100 km/h sprint is achieved in just over 5 seconds, which is remarkably agile for a vehicle of this size, ensuring effortless overtaking on the E11 highway. The All Wheel Drive system is a modern addition that provides exceptional stability on the occasional rain-slicked city streets or sandy coastal roads. The car features a satellite-aided transmission that predicts gear changes based on the road ahead, ensuring the smoothest possible transition through its automatic gearbox. With a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h, it is perfectly suited for the fast-paced transit between major Gulf hubs. The ground clearance and air suspension are designed to glide over speed humps and undulations without the occupants ever feeling a jar or vibration. This performance is not about racing; it is about providing a surplus of power so the driver never has to floor the accelerator to keep pace with modern traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside the Phantom EWB, you are greeted by an environment that feels entirely disconnected from the harsh outside elements of the Middle East. The 5-seat configuration is designed for maximum versatility, featuring rear seats that can be adjusted in infinite directions to ensure total comfort. The air conditioning system is arguably the most powerful in the world, capable of cooling the massive cabin from 50°C to a comfortable chill in a matter of minutes. Ventilated and massaging seats are standard for both front and rear passengers, which is a vital feature for maintaining comfort during the humid summer months in the UAE. The bespoke audio system is a masterpiece of acoustics, using the car's floor and roof as a resonance chamber to provide a concert-hall experience. Cabin insulation is so extensive that Rolls Royce engineers actually had to remove some of it because the silence was initially disorienting to test drivers. Every surface is finished in the highest grade of leather or genuine wood veneer, ensuring that every touchpoint feels cool and substantial.

Safety

Safety in the 2025 Phantom EWB is handled by a sophisticated suite of active and passive systems designed to protect without being intrusive. The car features an advanced Night Vision camera, which is incredibly useful for detecting camels or unlit obstacles on dark desert highways at night. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality makes navigating the heavy traffic of Downtown Dubai or Riyadh significantly less stressful. The 360-degree camera system provides a bird’s-eye view, which is essential for maneuvering the extended wheelbase in tight urban parking areas. High-strength steel and aluminum are used in the spaceframe to provide a safety cell that is among the strongest in the automotive industry. It also includes lane-departure warnings and blind-spot monitoring, which are critical for safe lane changes on the high-speed multi-lane roads common across the GCC. While it hasn't been put through traditional crash tests—simply because of its low volume—its structural integrity and massive weight provide a level of physical security that few other cars can match.

The bottom line

This 2025 Phantom EWB is the perfect acquisition for the buyer who demands a brand-new experience without the wait, offering the highest level of luxury available in the GCC today. With its GCC-ready specifications and ultra-low mileage, it represents a secure investment in both comfort and long-term resale value.
