Summary

The 2025 Toyota Raize Turbo G is a sharp-looking subcompact crossover designed for drivers who want the high seating position of an SUV with the running costs of a small hatch. Powered by a punchy 1.0L turbocharged engine, this GCC-spec model offers significantly better responsiveness for highway merging than the naturally aspirated versions while maintaining excellent fuel efficiency. Its compact 4-metre footprint and light steering make it one of the easiest cars to park in tight Dubai or Riyadh spaces. For GCC buyers, this grey example represents a practical choice with strong resale value backed by a massive regional service network. It is the ideal daily commuter for those who prioritize reliability and ease of use in the region's urban environments.

This Car vs Other 2025 Raizes

With zero mileage, this 2025 model provides the full benefit of a fresh manufacturer warranty and mechanical lifespan. The grey exterior is a neutral, high-demand color in the GCC market, offering better long-term resale protection than louder alternatives. Choosing a 2025 model year ensures you have the latest production refinements for the current generation.

TURBO G RA vs Lower Trims

The Turbo G trim is the sweet spot of the range, upgrading the engine from the standard 1.2L to a 1.0L turbocharged unit that delivers 140 Nm of torque for more confident highway overtaking. It also adds premium features like 17-inch alloy wheels and a larger 9-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Unlike the base trims, this version often includes the rearview camera and front/rear parking sensors essential for local city driving.

Raize vs Segment Rivals

The Raize leads the subcompact segment with its impressive 200 mm ground clearance, which comfortably clears speed bumps and minor water pooling during the seasonal rain. Compared to rivals like the Nissan Magnite and Kia Sonet, the Toyota offers a more established authorized service network across all seven emirates and the wider GCC. While some competitors focus on soft-touch materials, the Raize is built for durability, with cabin plastics designed to withstand the intense local summer heat without warping.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel efficiency is a major strength, with an official combined figure of 5.2 L/100km, making it one of the most economical non-hybrid SUVs in the UAE. Toyota's reputation for reliability in the Middle East translates to one of the lowest depreciation rates in the market, typically retaining significantly more value than its European or American-spec counterparts. Service intervals are standardized at 10,000 km, and parts are widely available and affordable at authorized centers across the GCC.

Performance & Capability

The 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo engine delivers a surprising amount of low-end torque, making the car feel agile in stop-start traffic. It achieves a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 11.2 seconds, which is well-suited for urban commuting and steady highway cruising at 120 km/h. While strictly front-wheel drive, the 200 mm ground clearance provides peace of mind when navigating gravel parking areas or unpaved tracks commonly found near GCC residential developments.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Raize maximizes its dimensions to provide a 369-litre boot that features a movable floor board to accommodate taller items like grocery crates or sports gear. The air conditioning system is specifically tuned for the Gulf climate, delivering rapid cooling even when ambient temperatures exceed 45°C. For long drives between emirates, the fabric seats remain breathable, and the 9-inch infotainment system provides seamless navigation through your smartphone.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the Turbo G includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control, which are vital for maintaining grip on sandy or rain-slicked roads. It is equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and ISOFIX child seat anchors. The inclusion of Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) ensures the vehicle won't roll back when starting on the steep inclines found in many modern multi-story car parks across the region.

The bottom line

This 2025 Toyota Raize Turbo G is the ultimate 'smart' buy for a GCC urban commuter, combining turbocharged responsiveness with Toyota’s legendary regional reliability and resale strength.
