Summary

This 2026 Jetour G700 is an impressive choice for buyers seeking modern hybrid efficiency without sacrificing the rugged capability required for GCC terrains. As a zero-year-old vehicle in the popular Grey finish, it offers strong resale potential in a market that favors metallic tones and high-spec SUVs. This model stands out by delivering supercar-level acceleration alongside a practical plug-in hybrid system, making it ideal for both silent city commutes and long-distance desert road trips. With its body-on-frame construction and advanced AWD system, it presents a compelling alternative to traditional luxury off-roaders at a more accessible entry point.

This Car vs Other 2026 G700s

As a new-year model with minimal wear, this G700 sits at the optimal point of its lifecycle for a GCC buyer. While typical annual use in the region often reaches 25,000 km, this vehicle’s status as a current-year listing ensures it remains under full manufacturer support. The Grey exterior is a highly liquid color in the UAE and Saudi markets, offering a safer bet for future value retention compared to louder alternative shades.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim serves as the entry point into this flagship range but remains exceptionally well-equipped for the local climate, featuring essential tri-zone climate control and ventilated front seats as standard. It includes the 15.6-inch digital cockpit and the robust 2-speed DHT hybrid system found in higher variants. While it utilizes a 5-seat layout instead of the 6-seat configuration found in the Flagship, it offers a larger standard cargo area that is highly practical for family weekend trips.

G700 vs Segment Rivals

The G700 competes directly with the GWM Tank 500 and the Land Rover Defender, leading the segment with a massive 904 hp combined output and a 100-litre fuel tank that ensures superior range for cross-border drives. Its 800V charging architecture allows for significantly faster DC top-ups than most rivals, making the PHEV lifestyle much more convenient in urban centers like Dubai or Riyadh. The 900 mm wading depth is a standout metric, surpassing several established luxury off-roaders.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is excellent for a vehicle of this size, achieving as low as 1.39 L/100km in combined cycles when the battery is utilized, though expect approximately 8.6 L/100km during long highway stints across the Emirates. Authorized service centers for Jetour are expanding rapidly across the GCC, ensuring reliable maintenance in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. As a Chinese-spec PHEV, buyers should verify local warranty compatibility, though the brand’s growing presence supports stable value retention.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is the 904 hp and 1,135 Nm of torque, which propels this large SUV from 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. This instantaneous electric torque is a game-changer for sand dune climbing and confident highway overtaking. The vehicle is built on a high-strength body-on-frame chassis with a 230 mm ground clearance and specialized off-road modes, making it a genuine dual-purpose tool for the modern GCC driver.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a tech-focused sanctuary featuring a massive 35.4-inch digital display strip and high-quality materials throughout. For the intense GCC summers, the air conditioning system is designed for rapid cooling, complemented by front seat ventilation to keep occupants comfortable during peak heat. The 5-seat configuration provides generous legroom for all passengers and a massive 966-litre boot, perfect for carrying heavy camping gear or large family grocery runs.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this trim includes a comprehensive 360-degree camera system with a transparent chassis view, which is vital for both tight mall parking and navigating rocky wadis. The G700 features an advanced suite of 10 airbags and active ADAS features like Automatic Emergency Braking and Lane Departure Warning. These systems are particularly beneficial on the high-speed, multi-lane highways common throughout the region.

The bottom line

This 2026 Jetour G700 is the ideal choice for the tech-savvy explorer who wants maximum power and hybrid efficiency in a rugged, desert-ready package.
