Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 LUX is a standout choice in the growing rugged crossover segment, offering a sophisticated look in its high-resale Black finish. At just one year old with 35,651 km, it represents a modern alternative to traditional SUVs, having seen primarily highway use across the Emirates. The T2 has quickly become a GCC favorite for its blend of off-road styling and high-tech cabin features that rival European luxury brands. For any buyer in the region, the balance of a powerful 2.0L turbocharged engine and a comprehensive manufacturer-backed service network makes this a secure and stylish investment. It is the ideal vehicle for those who want a bold presence on the road without sacrificing the refined comfort required for daily UAE commuting.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

With 35,651 km on the odometer, this T2 has been driven slightly more than the average 20,000–25,000 km typical for a one-year-old vehicle in the GCC, suggesting consistent highway use between emirates. The Black exterior is one of the most sought-after colors in the secondary market, ensuring higher liquidity and value retention compared to brighter lifestyle shades. Being a genuine GCC-spec model, it carries the full benefits of local warranty and cooling systems optimized for extreme summer heat.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim is the sweet spot for GCC buyers, adding essential comfort features not found on the base models, including ventilated front seats and a more premium audio experience. It also upgrades the safety suite with a 360-degree camera system and adaptive cruise control, which are vital for navigating fast-moving highway traffic. The interior is further elevated with higher-quality materials and ambient lighting that enhances the executive feel of the cabin.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The Jetour T2 is frequently cross-shopped with the Tank 300 and the Toyota Fortuner, leading the segment in interior technology and screen real estate. Unlike the more agricultural feel of some traditional 4x4s, the T2 uses a unibody construction that provides superior on-road handling and cabin quietness during long desert highway drives. Its 70-liter fuel tank offers a significant range advantage over smaller crossovers, making it better suited for cross-border trips.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0T engine averages approximately 9.3 L/100km, performing efficiently during steady highway cruising while remaining manageable in stop-start city traffic. Jetour has established a strong authorized service presence across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring that parts and maintenance are easily accessible. While Chinese brands are still establishing long-term data, the T2's massive popularity in the GCC has resulted in a stabilized depreciation curve that compares favorably to other newcomer brands.

Performance & Capability

The 254 hp turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 390 Nm of torque, allowing for confident overtaking on the E11 and effortless cruising at 140 km/h. While it excels on pavement, the 220 mm ground clearance and specialized terrain modes provide genuine capability for weekend excursions into the dunes or wadis. The BorgWarner intelligent four-wheel-drive system manages power distribution automatically, reacting to surface changes in just 0.1 seconds to maintain traction.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat layout offers class-leading legroom thanks to a 2,800 mm wheelbase, making it a comfortable family transporter. The air conditioning system is specifically tuned for the GCC climate, featuring dedicated rear vents and ventilated front seats that are essential for the peak of summer. A massive 15.6-inch central display serves as the tech hub, supporting wireless smartphone integration for seamless navigation across the region.

Safety

This T2 comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite that includes Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind Spot Monitoring, providing peace of mind on busy multi-lane roads. The inclusion of a 360-degree camera makes parking this boxy SUV in tight urban spaces simple. Passive safety is equally robust, featuring a high-strength steel cage construction and a full array of front, side, and curtain airbags as standard on this trim.

The bottom line

For the buyer seeking a modern, tech-forward SUV with a rugged aesthetic and the security of GCC specifications, this one-year-old Jetour T2 LUX is the most competitive entry point into the segment today.
