Summary

This 2026 Mercedes-Maybach S 680 represents the final evolution of the legendary V12 flagship, offering a level of refinement that few cars in the world can match. With only 100 km on the odometer, this virtually new example provides a significant advantage for GCC buyers seeking the prestige of a twelve-cylinder engine without the multi-year waitlist for a bespoke order. The unique green exterior is a sophisticated choice that stands out in the UAE’s luxury landscape while maintaining strong appeal for discerning private collectors. As a high-performance executive lounge, it balances effortless highway cruising between emirates with the latest MBUX technological suite. For the serious buyer, this is an opportunity to secure one of the last true V12 sedans before the industry shifts entirely to downsized or electric powertrains.

This Car vs Other 2026 S 680s

With just 100 km, this vehicle is effectively in delivery condition, offering a pristine alternative to the higher-mileage examples typically found in the GCC market. The rare green finish provides a distinctive edge in a segment dominated by black and silver, making it a highly desirable spec for both personal use and future resale. Its 'Other' regional specification may offer unique interior finishes or equipment not standard on local dealer units, though buyers should verify local warranty compatibility.

MAYBACH vs Lower Trims

The S 680 sits as the ultimate expression of the S-Class, distinguished from the V8-powered S 580 by its hand-assembled V12 engine and standard-fit high-end features. In the GCC, the Maybach trim is prized for its extended wheelbase, gesture-controlled power rear doors, and the executive rear seating package which includes full recline and leg-rest support. Additionally, the S 680 includes the 4D Burmester audio system and enhanced acoustic glazing as standard, providing the quietest cabin experience in the Mercedes-Benz lineup.

S 680 vs Segment Rivals

While cross-shopped with the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Bentley Flying Spur, the S 680 leads with its cutting-edge MBUX technology and rear-seat ergonomics that lean closer to a private jet experience. Its large fuel tank and efficient 9G-TRONIC transmission make it more practical for long-distance cross-border drives compared to its British rivals. The Maybach also offers a more discreet profile that is favored by executive owners who require ultra-luxury without the overt attention of a Spirit of Ecstasy.

Running Costs & Resale

The V12 powertrain is a masterpiece of engineering that requires specialist care, supported by the extensive Mercedes-Benz authorized service networks in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and beyond. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 16.1 L/100km in mixed GCC driving, though the massive torque allows for efficient, low-RPM highway cruising. As the last of the V12 flagships, the S 680 is expected to follow a unique depreciation curve, likely holding its value better than standard S-Class models due to its high collectibility and status.

Performance & Capability

Despite its limousine proportions, the S 680 reaches 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds thanks to 900 Nm of torque delivered to all four wheels. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system ensures maximum stability during sudden desert rains or high-speed highway travel, while the 9-speed automatic transmission provides imperceptible shifts. The electronic top speed is limited to 250 km/h, offering a composed and effortless feel even at the upper limits of local highway speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of Nappa leather and open-pore wood, featuring five seats including the iconic rear executive suite with hot-stone massage functions. GCC-specific comfort is ensured by the high-output four-zone climate control and ventilated seating throughout, designed to combat 50°C summer heat. The acoustic insulation is supplemented by active noise cancellation, creating a 'whisper-quiet' environment that allows for crystal-clear calls or audio immersion via the 30-speaker system.

Safety

This Maybach comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including 13 airbags and the full Mercedes-Benz ADAS platform. Features like Active Blind Spot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control are essential for the high-speed, multi-lane traffic found in Dubai and Riyadh. The 360-degree camera system and active parking assistance make maneuvering this extended-wheelbase sedan effortless in tight urban environments.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a delivery-mileage V12 Maybach in a standout color, perfect for the GCC executive who demands the highest level of prestige and immediate availability.
