Summary

This 2026 Nissan Patrol PRO-4X represents a rare opportunity to own the latest Y63 generation with extremely low mileage for the GCC market. Finished in a rugged green that perfectly suits its off-road character, this specific trim bridges the gap between luxury and pure desert capability better than any other model in the range. The move to the twin-turbo V6 has significantly improved torque delivery, making it feel more responsive on Dubai's fast-moving highways compared to the older V8 models. For a GCC buyer, the combination of Nissan's massive local service network and the PRO-4X's specific off-road hardware makes this a sensible but high-performance choice.

This Car vs Other 2026 Patrols

With just 14,280 km, this vehicle is well below the typical 25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC, meaning it still feels and drives like a showroom unit. The green exterior is a standout choice that holds strong niche appeal in the local market, offering a more adventurous look than the common white or silver alternatives.

PRO 4X vs Lower Trims

The PRO-4X adds critical off-road equipment over the Titanium trim, including a dedicated locking rear differential, adaptive air suspension with e-damper technology, and all-terrain tires. You also get the upgraded 28.6-inch Monolith display and the 12-speaker Klipsch premium audio system, which are significant upgrades for long cross-emirate drives.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, the Patrol offers a more advanced digital cockpit and a larger total cargo volume of 2,749 liters with seats folded. Its 3,700 kg towing capacity leads the segment, providing more headroom for those pulling heavy boats or trailers between the UAE and Oman.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the new twin-turbo V6 is roughly 14.4L/100km, offering better efficiency in city traffic than the previous generation. As a GCC-spec Nissan, it benefits from the widest authorized service network in the region, including comprehensive support in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Historically, the Patrol retains roughly 85-90% of its value after the first year in the UAE market.

Performance & Capability

The 700 Nm of torque arrives earlier in the rev range than the old V8, allowing for effortless highway overtaking and superior sand-crawling ability. The adaptive air suspension allows you to raise the body to a maximum ground clearance of 294 mm, combined with a 34-degree approach angle for serious desert obstacles. Six selectable drive modes, including specific Sand and Rock settings, ensure the 4WD system is optimized for every local terrain.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat cabin features NASA-inspired zero-gravity seats designed to reduce fatigue during long desert expeditions or summer traffic. The biometric cooling system uses infrared sensors to detect passenger body temperatures and automatically directs airflow, a vital feature for the intense GCC summer. Acoustic glass and improved insulation ensure the cabin remains whisper-quiet even at high cruising speeds on the E11.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the PRO-4X includes a 360-degree Around View Monitor with 'Invisible Hood View,' which is invaluable for spotting hidden rocks off-road or high curbs in the city. The full ADAS suite provides adaptive cruise control and trailer blind-spot warning, ensuring peace of mind during long-distance highway hauls or while towing.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for a GCC buyer who wants the very latest in Japanese engineering and tech with a specialized off-road edge, all while benefiting from a nearly-new vehicle's warranty and condition.
