Summary

This 2026 Targa 4 GTS is an exceptional find in the GCC market, showing just 1,700 km on the odometer and effectively offering a brand-new ownership experience. As the newly released 992.2 generation, it introduces the revolutionary T-Hybrid powertrain, blending high-performance electric torque with Porsche's iconic flat-six character. The Targa's signature silhouette and grey finish provide a timeless aesthetic that commands strong resale interest across the region. Unlike high-mileage imports, this ultra-low-mileage example is perfectly suited for a collector or an enthusiast looking for the latest in Porsche engineering without the wait. For the UAE and wider GCC, the combination of all-wheel-drive stability and the open-air Targa roof makes it a versatile year-round grand tourer.

This Car vs Other 2026 911s

With only 1,700 km, this Targa 4 GTS is significantly below the average annual mileage of 20,000 km typically seen for sports cars in the GCC. While many 2026 models are just entering the market, this example's near-delivery condition makes it a standout for buyers prioritizing mechanical freshness. The grey exterior is a highly liquid color in the local market, ensuring it remains a sought-after configuration for future resale.

TARGA 4GTS vs Lower Trims

The GTS trim is the high-performance sweet spot, adding the advanced 3.6-litre T-Hybrid system which provides 541 hp compared to the standard Targa 4's 388 hp. GCC buyers will appreciate standard enthusiast upgrades like rear-axle steering, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), and the updated Sport Chrono package with a mode switch on the steering wheel. It also features a 10mm lower sport-tuned suspension and larger brakes derived from the Turbo models for superior stopping power.

911 vs Segment Rivals

The 911 Targa 4 GTS leads rivals like the Aston Martin Vantage and Maserati MC20 Cielo by offering the unique Targa roof mechanism that provides coupe-like rigidity with a retractable center section. Its sophisticated all-wheel-drive system ensures more reliable traction on the sandy or dusty surfaces often found on coastal GCC roads compared to its rear-drive competitors. Additionally, the 911's heritage and engineering reliability make it a more practical daily-use supercar for the regional climate.

Running Costs & Resale

The new T-Hybrid system improves fuel efficiency in stop-start traffic in cities like Dubai and Riyadh, with a combined WLTP figure of approximately 10.8 L/100km. Service intervals for Porsche in the GCC are typically every 15,000 km, and the brand maintains an extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Porsche 911s historically exhibit some of the best value retention in the luxury segment, typically depreciating only 8-12% annually in the GCC when maintained at official centers.

Performance & Capability

The 541 hp hybrid powertrain delivers a blistering 0-100 km/h time of just 3.1 seconds, assisted by an electric turbocharger that virtually eliminates lag. This immediate response is ideal for high-speed highway overtaking and provides relentless thrust up to a top speed of 312 km/h. The standard Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel-drive system provides immense confidence during long-distance drives across the Emirates, regardless of weather or road surface conditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The 2+2 cabin is a masterclass in ergonomics, featuring the new 12.6-inch fully digital curved instrument cluster and a 10.9-inch central touchscreen. For the GCC summer, the powerful Porsche climate control system and insulated Targa roof ensure the cabin remains cool even in 45 degree heat. High-quality materials like Race-Tex and leather provide a motorsport-inspired feel while remaining durable and comfortable for long-distance grand touring.

Safety

Standard safety features include Porsche Side Impact Protection (POSIP) and an advanced suite of driver aids such as Warn and Brake Assist. For the fast-moving multi-lane highways of the UAE, the standard Lane Keep Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition provide vital support. The 911's high-performance braking system and Wet Mode ensure the car remains stable and predictable even during the region's occasional heavy rain or on slippery urban surfaces.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the very latest Porsche technology in a distinctive Targa body style, this nearly-new GTS offers a rare chance to skip the queue for a 992.2 generation masterpiece.
